Desperate Love

CHAPTER 1

Kristine's POV

I wake up from my 8 hours sleep. Agad agad akong bumangon at nag inat muna ng katawan coz I feel so antok pa din.

I glance at my clock at nakita kong six pa nga ng umaga so I decided to check my phone muna bago pumasok sa school.

Ang class ko kasi ay magsisimula ng nine at matatapos ng three kaya di pa naman ako malalate sa new school ko.

Yeah you heard it right. New school kasi I just arrive last week from California. I study there noon but right now I study nalang here.

I'm a pure Filipina slash dalagang pilipina but yun nga pinapunta ako  ni Mommy sa California when I was 10 years old and let me study there.I'm 17 right now and I'm in the last year of high school.

My parents had their business at California pero lumipat dito yun so dito na ulit kami nagstay.

I speak English and Tagalog more often kasi nakalimutan ko na rin yung ibang mga tagalog words.

So after checking my phone I already got my towel and take a bath at my bathroom.

I just use the shower instead of the bath tub coz I know it will took time if I use my bath tub.

After bathing for almost 30 minutes I already wear my school uniform and make ayos ayos to myself.

I put a pulbo in my face and a little liptint na rin.

Hindi ako masyadong nagmamake up lalo na pag lipstick kasi hindi rin yun nagtatagal sa lips ko coz I always eat it or wipe it using my tongue.

I'm just not sanay in using any of my make ups here so I just put pulbo and liptint where I found more comfy.

I'm already done in making myself looks presentable so I decided to go downstairs na.

When I am on my last step on our stairs I already smell the aroma of our breakfast meal.

Hmmm.

I suddenly feel hungry at that smell.

Nang makalapit na ako sa kitchen nakita ko agad ang parents ko. Daddy is reading a newspaper while my mommy is cooking together with my Nana.

"Good morning everyone." I greeted them with a wide smile.

"Ohh iha you're awake na pala. Come here and eat." Sabi ni Daddy at binitawan muna ang newspaper na hawak sabay hila sa akin ng upuan.

"Thanks dad" I happily said and then kissed dad on the cheek.

"Mukhang maganda ang umaga mo ah." Mommy noticed and I also give her a kiss in the cheek.

"Yeah right mommy." I said then kiss Nana on the cheek also.

"Kumain ka na iha. Masarap yang luto ng mommy mo." Said Nana.

Nana is our only maid coz we don't really trust people to serve us.

I'm so close at the three of them that I can't afford to lose even one of them.

I started eating so as my parents and Nana.

When we finish eating we decided to go na leaving Nana alone so she could clean already.

I kiss Nana's cheek and go to our car where my parent's are waiting for me.

Tahimik lang kami sa buong biyahe and when we already arrive at our school's gate the car suddenly stop.

"Here is your allowance sweety." Sabi ni Mommy sabay bigay sa akin ng five thousand for my daily allowance.

"Salamat mom and gotta go." I said at nagmano muna bago lumabas ng car.

I wave my hand at them.

Nasa harap na ako ng gate and I am looking at the whole school.

Hindi siya ganoon kalaki kagaya ng California but it is also big and wide.

I read the name of our school in my mind.

'Xavier University'

Ohh what a cool school name.

Nang matapos kong tingnan ang whole school galing dito sa labas ay pumasok na ako and then I'm looking for my classroom.

Late na ako sa nga classes kasi third week na ng class ngayon kaya I really need to catch up with our late topics.

I already got my list of my classrooms last week.

Kaya walang teacher ang nag aassist sa akin ngayon.

It's already 8:56 and hindi ko padin nahahanap ang classroom ko.

Malapit na mag nine which means malapit na rin ang klase ko but here I am right now.

Still coudn't find the room for me.

I sighed when I heard the bell rang.

Nervousness flows at my body at the truth that I still couldn't find my classroom.

It feels heaven when I feel a guy walking at my back.

I decided to turn my head and then wave at him and ask.

"Hii kuya. Can I ask you something?" I said actively.

Tiningnan niya lang ako at agad nilagpasan na parang walang narinig na tanong.

How rude.

Bumusangot ang mukha ko dahil dun.

Ang gwapo pa naman niya.

Maybe later I can talk to him.

After 15 minutes of roaming around and looking for my classroom I finally find it.

Kumatok muna sa room catching anyone's attention.

Tiningnan nila akong lahat so agad akong nag baba ng tingin.

Naiilang ako.

"Ohh there you are Ms. Pios. Kanina ka pa namin inaantay." Nakangiting sabi sa akin ng aming guro at agad akong inalalayan papasok.

Lahat ng mga mata ng nga kaklase ko ay nasa akin kaya hindi ko maiwasang mailang sa mga tingin nila.

"So Ms. Pios, please introduce yourself." Yung teacher namin.

"Uhm hey guys. I am Kristine Ashley Pios but you can call me Kristine nalang. I came from California." Maligaya kong bati sa kanila.

Wala man lang reaksiyon ang mga kaklase ko at nagbaba agad ng tingin.

Hayst.

"Pagpasensiyahan mo na ang mga kaklase mo Ms. Pios ganyan lang talaga sila. By the way I am Mrs. Vanessa Mendez." Pagpapakilala sa akin ng teacher ko.

I just nooded at her and then smile.

"Okay lang po." Sabi ko.

"Okay so you may now take a seat. Mr. Clarion kindly let Ms. Pios to sit beside you instead of letting your bag occupy that seat." Sabi ni Mrs. Mendez sa isang lalaki.

Familiar.

Ayy oo nga pala. Ito yung masungit na lalaki kanina.

Tumingin muna ang lalaki sa akin at tinanggal na ang bag niya.

I sitted beside him.

Our class already started at medyo halata nga na nahuli na talaga ako.

Nang matapos ang klase I very feel boredom dahil wala akong kakilala.

Naisipan kong kausapin ang lalaking katabi ko.

"Hi seatmate I am Kristine. Ang cute mo." I actively said.

"Tss." Singhal niya sabay labas sa room.

Ang cute niya.

Parang may bago na ata akong crush ngayon ah.

Gusto ko yung pagiging masungit niya.

Crush ko na ata siya.
