“Seemed to stop my breath... my head on your chest ...waiting to cave in... from the bottom of my... Hear your voice again... could we dim the sun... and wonder where we've been... maybe you and me... So kiss me like you did... my heart stopped beating... such a softer sin...
I'm melting... in your eyes... i lost my place... could stay a while... and I'm melting... in your eyes... like my first time... that I caught fire... just stay with me... lay with me... now.” – Excerpt from the song ‘I caught fire (In your eyes)’ by The Used.

Of course this book is about my love story or about how it came to be.
Never thought that I’d have one since I grew up acting like one of the boys; thinking like one of the boys, fighting like one of the boys. I’m an only child but I never felt alone in my entire life. Why? Because my parents and their friends found it amusing to live in one compound! So I grew up with their kids who, as luck would have it, are all of the opposite gender.
I love the lot of them but they tend to be over protective at times, it’s not even funny.
My mom told me that it’s only natural for the guys to feel protective of me since I’m the only girl but heck, try to live in my shoes for eighteen years and tell me that it’s fun. I highly doubt that you’ll feel that way.
Oh sheesh.. We’re way off the subject now…
I was about to tell you about my first love. But let me tell you a little about myself. Firstly, my name is Isabella Yuna. No last name. I don’t resent my last name, that’s too harsh a word, I’m more of embarrassed to use it at times. Why again? Because it’s highly renowned?! And people tend to blabber about how they knew my parents, how cool they are, about how lucky I am to be born from them. Geez! It drives me insane. Not that I hate it but…gawd! I just wish they would just shut their traps!
I’m fine being in the shadows of my parent’s names but sometimes, I wish that we’re just normal. You know, like my mom is just a normal housewife and my dad has a normal 8-5 kind of job, then I would have a normal life. It’s tedious to have cameras pushed on your face whenever I’m outside the compound. I’m tired of getting asked the same old stupid questions by the media like what do I see in my future; am I going to follow in my parents footsteps?! Most irritated that people makes it their business to breathe down my neck and scrutinize all my movements. I tell you now, fame is not good thing.
