I walked to the school and for how sake I was not late today.

" y/n!" I hear some voices calling my name and turned around to see minhyuk and a changkyun running behind him like a kid.

" Hi, guys! " I greeted them. Minhyuk was the first to approach, huffing then changkyun came.

" That's why I was telling you not to run!" Changkyun scolded him as he was still gasping for air.

" Just admit that you lost, changkyun !" Minhyuk sarcastically said as he finally managed to spoke.

" The only loser I know is you" changkyun smacked his head.

The only thing I could do was to laugh at them for being this cute. One good thing that happened to me while preparing for this competition is that I have actually become close to kihyun's friends expect changkyun since we already were close. They all were nice and sweet to me but not to forget they can become crackheads.

" Sorry y/n that you have to witness this. Changkyun can become this evil" minhyuk said.

" I guess that punch wasn't enough for you" changkyun glared him.

"Guys! Don't fight" I told as the two boys stopped fighting.

" So, how's the practice going?" Minhyuk asked.

" It's going well " I faked a smile.

" Kihyun skipped it again, I guess," changkyun said and minhyuk looked at him in surprise. " But I thought he went right after when Mrs. Jung scolded him," minhyuk said clearly disappointed.

But he didn't. Kihyun had been skipping the practice for five days which is not a good thing for our team. He almost quitted one time, when an argument between him and me heated up. Jaemin and yeri to begged for him to come back. He finally agreed to come to the practice I swear I could've smacked him with a rock if he doesn't agree to come. Sometimes I just don't understand Kihyun's behavior!

" Uh. We're here!" I changed the topic. They smiled and headed to their seat. As I went over to my seat I realized that Kihyun's seat wasn't empty as he was there. I'm actually surprised to see him but I don't know why but he seems extremely tired to me. I ignored as I went to my seat.

" you are coming to the practice, kihyun?" Asked Jaemin. Jaemin was more upset than me about kihyun's 'skipping the practice thing' but he wasnt mad. That's one thing I hate about Jaemin, he's always way too nice to people.

" Yeah. I will come with yeri" said kihyun and Jaemin nodded.

The bell rings, and I gather my things, heading to the ground with Jaemin. After school was over, we had to do regular practice since there are few days left for the competition.

Jaemin and I have been discussing the strategies and problems we could use for the game. If you think the three-legged race is easy, then you're wrong. You have a focus on communication skills and many small details which are not for everyone. Well, not for me and kihyun.

We reached the ground and saw yeri, standing there alone.

Where the hell is kihyun?

" Where's kihyun? " jaemin asks looking around the field.

" He texted me that he's on his way but it's been 15 minutes already" yeri awkwardly said.

" Have you tried to call him? " jaemin said with a worried tone.

" I did, but it's said the phone is switched off " yeri said disappointed.
