introduction

In my family being a Santos is everything. My old man, Ricardo Garcia II, was the leader of The Santos during the 90s and well my papa Ricky was the OG Santo who started it all. The Santos were created to protect Freeridge but sadly, when papa died, it all slowly went to shit.

My name is Roxana Garcia, Roxy for short. I've lived in Freeridge my whole life with my brother Noel.

My brother and I have been on our owns since I was 8 and he was 12. He always tells me how it wasn't his choice to be in the gang, it was just something that had to be done to keep us both alive. I disagree, he could've stayed in school and chosen a more civil lifestyle for the both of us but I keep those thoughts to myself and decide not to argue with him.

Noel leads The Santos along side Oscar Diaz who was also born into this life and had no choice but to join.

I don't really know Oscar like that but i'm definitely not his biggest fan, he always seems to have my brother wrapped up in no good.

I really care a lot for my brother so i'm always on his ass, following him around, making sure he stays alive. Which is how I met Oscar's little brother, Cesar Diaz.

Cesar and I have gone to the same school our whole lives, I've seen him around but have never talked to him. I always thought he was a mini version of his brother but boy was I wrong.

Shockingly Cesar and I kinda live the same life and share the same viewpoints.

We both want to get out and try to have a normal life but sadly we know that can't be done. This is the life we were born into whether we like it out not. Our childhoods were also very similar, our dads were put into jail and our moms were addicts.

I ended up really liking Cesar, He's kind of like the bestfriend I always wanted growing up.

After hanging out a few times, Cesar convinced me to stop chasing my brother around and actually socialize with others outside of the gang. I was hesitant at first but eventually agreed.

He tells me how his friends aren't completely accepting as to who he is and what he's involved in but he views them all as family and knows they all just want the best for him.

They seem like amazing people, I can't wait to meet them...
