The day it happened

For the whole of Alenas life right up until her fourteenth birthday- her life was very normal , she went to a normal school in a normal place (London , England ) , she had normal friends , and lived with her very normal parents , until the when something very un-normal happened on her very special birthday

The third of October , Two years ago
Aliens woke up extremely excited , today was the day , her birthday had finally arrived , after months and months of waiting for it , it had finally arrived . She had massive plans for it , and everything was all going to go amazingly in her head . Looking at the clock on her bedside table, she realised it was almost eight o'clock in the morning, almost time for her to go downstairs for her to make her morning coffee and today open all her presents from her parents . And she was very excited to do so , hopefully she was getting the new straighteners she'd asked her mum for months ago ....

Ten hours later
After a long day of partying and present opening , alena was still far from exhausted- in fact she was just getting ready for the big party to get started . All day she had been doing things , going for lunch with her family , going Ice skating with friends , going shopping with them too , and opening all her presents from everyone . And now she had done with all that , it was time for her house party to start - she was inviting 23 people to her house and would enjoy a night of dancing and loud music echoing through her house . She was most excited for the party since she had planned it and was thinking about how good it was going to be while getting ready , applying her makeup and getting into her dress . After a while , her mum called up to her . "Alena , come on , we need to show you a surprise".
Alena was so excited already she didn't know what had hit her when her mum took her downstairs and drove her to a nearby barnyard place with a sizzling barbecue and fireworks all ready to go in the corner .
"SURPRISE" , about forty people screamed into Alenas face as she walked blindfolded into the courtyard .
"Mum !!!" Alena screamed as she looked at her mother in awe and surprise. "Did you do all of this for me?"
"With a little help from everly and Madelyn, I got everything done"
"I love you so much , mum , I can't believe you did this for me"
Alena was over the moon with excitement , she was not now having a house party with about 20 people, she was having a barnyard party with 40 ish people from her school with music so loud it was almost deafening , and everyone would enjoy themselves a lot.
All night, Alena had a great time and even managed to get drunk with a lot of other people who were there. At 11:34 pm exactly , Alena felt a little sick so she went into the bathroom to go to the toilet and wash her face . Almost throwing up into the toilet , she tried to calm herself down a bit and breathe in in and out slowly , without realising a spider had crawled onto her hand while she knelt Down . Too drunk to even notice , Alena shut her eyes for a second to get rid of the dizziness and that was when she felt the spider attach its teeth to her skin and bite down hard , making her hand bleed heavily .
"Ow!!!" She cries out , looking down at her hand to see the spider still taking her blood and biting down on her hand even more .
"Stop it , you stupid spider !." She flicked the beast away and got up to stand on it , hoping that if she killed it she wouldn't be bitten by it again . Not even looking at it as she left the bathroom cubicle , she walked back to the party and started to jump up and down to the now upbeat energetic music, enjoying her party .
