'Dear Diary:

I first noticed Alfie doing his ritual of lying on his driveway looking at the sky when he first moved here. He was new, strange, mysterious and gorgeous. The new and gorgeous elements were obvious. The strange and mysterious elements, however, were not.

He came into English Lit on the 10th of September, ages after school had started to be honest, in a long brown jacket with fur lining on the inside, a white t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and black vans, all of which complimented his deep brown eyes and soft black hair which was in a messy state but still looked very attractive.

He looked incredible. I actually gasped as he walked past to take a seat in front of me, he looked backwards, and chuckled. Typical. I always embarrass myself in front of beautiful boys.

His chuckle was the cue for the longest blushing session to ensue, with him looking back every so often, smirking.

I didn't know his name until class was over, when I was walking out the door, he was behind me, and being the awkward individual that I am, I dropped my books.

I leant down to start picking them up when two huge hands grasped them all (there were three books, not thirty, but still his hands were really big)

'I've got it' his voice was deep but scratchy, and reminded me of Kermit the frog. I started laughing really hard, which made him laugh too (he had no idea what he was laughing at which made butterflies form in my stomach)

'Hi,I'm Alfie' he said, handing me my books, our hands tangling through the exchange. I smiled, blushing (Yes, again. Don't judge me!) 'I'm Emma' I whisper. 'Pardon?' He said cupping his hand over his ear. 'I'm Emma' I giggle. 'Oh! Well, pleased to meet you Emma' He winked and gestured towards the door. 'May I escort you to your next class..Emma?' 'You may..Alfie' I whispered.

'Well, I'm very glad this little show is over. Although, Emma, I'd recommend that you refrain from being acquainted with Mr Deyes here.' We both jumped and looked behind us to see our English Lit professor smirking, we went straight out the door, rushed around the corner, we both made eye contact then we both started laughing hysterically. Although I swear I saw Alfie's jaw clench when the professor suggested that I stay away from him.

Alfie Deyes, is still very mysterious and strange, though but he's also still gorgeous. I think I really like him.

Honestly, I think I'm beginning to love the boy with the voice like Kermit the frog, and his really messy hair.

Until tomorrow.

Emma x'
