If you’re wondering why on earth I’m starting a review book on a website that has a hundred thousand books to choose from - let me explain.
I’m not new to Wattpad. Half a decade ago I signed up to the world of words and wonders. Mind you, this was back in the time of werewolf stories and characters clearly suffering from Stockholm’s syndrome. Every second book had a hot male growling ‘mate’ as he pushed the protagonist against the locker or gazed soulfully in his/her eyes or Justin Bieber (with his alter ego name which I can’t remember) kidnapping and abusing the protagonist only for them to fall in love in the end. I sincerely hope Justin never finds any of those stories. I mean, that would be a depressing read.
It wasn’t hard to find good books, because the unique, worth reading ones would stand out immediately against all the covers of Francisco Lachowski or the cliché black wolf.
I’m thankful and eternally grateful to humanity for moving past those times, and Wattpad is now chock full of gems. There are SO MANY good books on here, all with amazing, professional looking covers, that it can be overwhelming and hard to find something uniquely suited to you.
This is where I come in.
This book will consist of reviews of books that I recommend you should read. It’ll have books from just about every genre (except horror because I’m a wuss) so there’ll be something for everyone’s tastes. I’ll probably be reviewing a lot of fantasy/romance/dystopian books because that’s the stuff I love to read, but I’ll try my very best to keep it diverse and interesting.
I’ll also be asking some authors if I can interview them, so if we’re lucky I’ll be able to get you all some more in depth explanations about the book and the story.
Also, I’ll be doing my best to find books that haven’t got many reads or still need to be ‘found’ because there are so many great stories on here that deserve more recognition. Anyone is welcome to message me with suggestions of books that they love that need to be shared with the world, so I’ll be looking out for those too. I’d really appreciate all of your help!
