Chapter 10

After everything he'd been through in the last few days, even the air on his face felt numb and distant. He was exhausted and he was indifferent to everything around him.

In that one moment Jungkook felt his heart shattered. Two months pass, Taehyung has been avoiding his calls and text messages.

He do not wish to add any burden towards Tae so he respect his decision though he misses Hanie so much and he can only depends on Namjoon to pass a message or any groceries items he had brought to Tae.

That particular morning, he was slumped down on his love shape armchair, not feeling like doing anything. Even when his office air-conditioned is blast off, he's not freezing at all. He's restless!

Suddenly he heard a footsteps of squeaking (baby shoes) sounds roaming outside his office.

He quickly get up to inspect where is that sound coming from, and before he could reach the door knob,

someone opens the door from outside without knocking then his baby girl dash in, run towards Jungkook and launches herself into his arms for a hug.

"DADA!!"

Tears drenched his face as he uttered a silent but desperate prayer and thank you's to God for listening to his wishes. He misses his girl so so much! Tae had allowed Namjoon to bring along Hanie to Jungkook workplace;

"Here's Hanie backpack. All her stuffs are inside. Milk powders, diapers... Taehyung says Hanie keep whining everyday for you. So, he say Hanie to stay with you for a week," Namjoon spoke as he placed Hanie's pink backpack on Jungkook desks.

"Jungkook.. I already explained to Taehyung about Tiffany and that you already gave that bitch a warning, but he didn't say much. Do something please.. Taehyung, h- he look so exhausted as if like he is giving up on his life."

"Hyung, I'm feeling rough right now and I'm trying to make things right... but do you see his
behaviour? It's turning me off"

"Jungkook, you are not the only one who is suffering. Taehyung also having a really hard time coping all by himself and the issues with Tiffany, God I hate mentioning her name! She doesn't have the right to lay a finger on Tae!

....I'm dissapointed with you Jungkook. You both once love each other, somehow please try to convince Tae. Hanie needs both her mama and dada, make that happen again."

"Dada, mama oways cry cry cry... But Hanie no naughty dada... mama shay, okay Hanie shleep with dada, mama dowan!"

Hanie being a good girl out of sudden interrupted the conversation between her dada and uncle namjoon.

"Are you sure baby?"

Jungkook asked staring at his babygirl on his lap with a shock face but the girl squeezed her eyes shut and nodded.

Jungkook never experienced this feeling of regret, for wrongs he's never had the chance to correct it and mistakes that he's not sure will be forgiven for.

For as long as he remembers, he divorced Taehyung while Tae is pregnant with his child. Being obsessed with Tiffany, he actually shoved Tae out from their apartment that night without even thinking of their safety.

Right now at this moment, looking at his own adorable child on his arms, the one that he abandoned when the child is not even born yet... what right does he has over this girl?

Hanie had somehow roped her father into having a tea party with her. "Dada.. You no drink your tea....?" She pointed at the empty plastic cup in front of Jungkook.
