Hiya! And welcome to chapter two, just be warned I am a complete novice in terms of writing so forgive me if it isn't very good or my writing isn't very consistent...

*+Y/N's POV+*

Ava hoisted my bags miraculously all onto her shoulders, which looked ridiculous because of her short build and ushered me inside.

"wa... WHAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT?!? Ava, this is really your apartment? Can you even call this an apartment? I'm so jealousss! How did you even afford this" I screeched.

Ava sheepishly chucked "ah, haha, you see..." she paused, I thought for a minute. "oooh, your dads got it for you, didn't they?" "yep.. haha?" she then pulled the fakest smile ever but not a second later we both burst into a fit of giggles and snorts for what appeared to be the second time in a span of ten minutes.

Eventually, we got over our laughing fit the initial rush of seeing each other for the first time in what felt like forever. I walked back over to the door and we set to work carrying my things into her room. 

Ava luckily had a trundle bed prepared and we were quickly able to organize all of my belongings onto the bed and into a spare dresser she had cleared out for me.

 "hey, I'm really sorry that I don't have a room set up for you Y/N.." Ava muttered as we walked back into the lounge area.

"pshhhh, are you serious! Ava, you've done so much for me already! I mean, come on, you even letting me stay here is already far too generous!!!" I retorted "I think one thing I'll need to help you with is having a little more resilience and a bit more of a backbone! No one can push my bestie around!" 

"eh, I suppose you're right" She chuckled.

*+Timeskip to the next day+*

*beep* *beep*            

"ughhhh....."

*beep* *beep*

"eeehh, no." Ava mumbles and then rolls back on her side to sleep.

Not a second later a loud scratching sound fills my ears, being too disturbed I roll onto my stomach to see what the commotion is only to spot Johnny tearing up the curtains. I wipe the sleep out of my eye as I watch Ava tumble out of bed and trudge over to the mischevious kitty and pull him off of the pile of shreds that was once used to block out the light.

"*yawnnn* m-morning Ave's... what's the uh time?" I finally sit up in bed.

From the floor, on her back Ava responds "oh, it's-" *bring* *bring*  

She looks at me for approval and I give her the 'go ahead nod' 

I grab a pair of clothes for the day and head to the bathroom to get ready, on my way out I overheard Ave's mentioning Lorelai... hold up... you mean to tell me, Ava, as in the Ava that wouldn't say more than a few word to anyone that wasn't she didn't know well has been out making friends?!? IM SOOOO PROUDDDDD!!!!

*+Ava's P.O.V+*

I rolled over to give N/N (nickname) an answer "oh, it's-" *bring* *bring*  

Oh sugar honey iced tea, I'd better get that! Shooting Y/N a sorry look I meander over to my phone to take the call. 

(Key Ava Lorelai)

"ava?"

As she walks out of the room to get ready I can't help but feel a little bad, I wonder how sharing a room is going to turn out?

"AVA?"

"huh?!?, wait, what? oh sorry, who is this?"

"It's Lorelai silly, aren't you happy to get a call from me?"

"I don't know anyone who would be excited to get a call at 7 o'clock... In the morning... On a Friday?"

"WEll IIII'm sorry, it's just you're usually never awake..."

"yes, I know, I usually sleep in! but... I've got a job interview today."

"Sooo, will you be coming to the convention with me todayy? pretty please?" 

"I JUST said i've got a job interview?! I'm not interested in going to an anime convention on SUCH a stressful day..."

"BuUT, It's just down the street! You could be there in a flash!!!"

"ugh, I don't care if it's just' down the street."

"aww come on, you're so boring Ava, live a little..."

Jeez, rude much

"ergh, I know im 'boring', butttt you're annoying so we're even"

"UHMM EXCUSE MEE!?!"

"oh, haha, nothing, nothing... I was just ah talking to my cat!"

"Incoherent mumbling"

"I'm hanging up now, bye-e" phew, finally, that woman is a nightmare, when will she ever learn when to stop... grrr...

*click* oh, that must be Y/N
