Chapter One:"It's Not The End Afterall"

" A sunny afternoon and I have just arrived at my father's mansion. My parent's separated already, now they take turns caring for me. For the past few years I was with my mother, up until now I have lived with  her cause dad is busy. Mother told me yesterday that she will be gone for a year or so due to work, she also told me that i cannot travel with her for it is too complicated. Father agreed to take me in, we discussed over the phone that he has hired a personal butler for me and that because of the distance I will attend a new school closer to father's house. He told me not to worry because it is an elite school and that he has everything prepared.I hop off the car, anxious of what is coming to me. 

'Lady Anise, I shall place your luggage in your respective room. You may stroll around to sight-see your new home." my butler says.

How lucky was I to be given such a hansome butler. He has ocean blue eyes that you can just stare at all day, beautiful golden brown hair and not to mention his gorgeous face. Much more like a prince not a butler! I realize I was dazing off while he awaited my reply.

"hmp. It's not like I've never been here. It's my father's house remember?" I say hiding the fact that I was mesmerizing him.

"ah, I see. I must go now for I have a lot of work to do." he replies while heading to the stairs.

sigh.What should I do now? And so I start rooming around the house. It's so awkward cause it's like I completely know the place but at the same time so unfamiliar. As I pass through the corridors of my father's home,I recall the memories we spent as a whole family. But no! I don't want to remember, especially the times when I could overhear them having a fight. How I rememeber the words coming out of their mouths, how they could not love each other anymore, how they wanted to part. Despite the fact they quarelled so much, when they were infront of me it's like everything is fine.They're making me believe that everything will turn out ok. And like I thought, It didn't.

"Lady Anise, what are you doing just standing there?" a familiar voice said from the back. 

as I turned about-face,I see my butler.Damn how embarrasing that was just standing there....

"ohh...uhm..I...I was just...."

"...just?" he says while approaching me

"just...OH I DON'T KNOW!" I say in a furious manner.

I turn my back away from him. I mean come on! He couldn't read the atmosphere? Stupid butler.Stupid.Stupid. gawd Im acting like a child! It's all stupid butler's fault. there was a silence between us. I glanced over at him, and see him dazing at the ceiling. -__-. His eyes suddenly widen and he looks at me.

"I just remembered, Master Kuzou is waiting for you in the garden" he says expressionlessly (lol grammar I know)

"oh,then I should head over there.Thanks." I reply

He didn't say a thing. He just stood there by the door watching me walking in the pathway of rocks that, as I remember, lead to the pavilion close to the garden. stupid butler. As I was nearing the pavilion I started to hear a voice. Father's voice. 

"Anise! is that you? oh it is!!! my my I am so happy right now!" fatther says.

Sometimes father can be a little too enthusiastic. I wave over at him standing by the pavilion carrying a watering can. 

"So, I didn't know...that you were into gardening" I say while looking over at the beautiful flowers.

"hahaha yes, I only do them in my spare time..." he replies

Spare time? spare time?! He didn't even have time to eat dinner with us and now he's gardening?

"I see." still looking at the flowers.
