Preeta went to her room and changed and went to Karan's room.
She saw the door open and entered but couldn't find Karan anywhere. Suddenly two arms wrapped around her waist.
Of course, It was our The Karan Luthra... Who else has the courage to touch his babydoll?
Karan: Ab toh proposal bhi ho gaya hai.. Toh romance toh banta hai na
Preeta got nervous. 
Karan kissed on her shoulders and then gave a soft kiss on her neck. She shivered with his touch. He turned her towards him and sensed her nervousness. He kissed her cheeks and forehead. She blushed.
Karan: Mein tumhe kisi cheez ke liye force nahi karoonga... Mein nahi chahta tum uncomfortable ho jao. Tum jab chaaho tab hum apna rishta aage badhayenge.
Preeta hugged him.
Preeta: Thank you mujhe samajhne ke liye.
Karan: Ab samajhna toh padega hi na.. Apni iss bajarbattu ki bajarbatti ko.
Preeta kissed his cheek. Karan wrapped his arms around her waist.
Karan: Achha ji.. Ab bohot pyaar aa raha hai?
Preeta: Tumhe nahi chahiye.. Toh theek hai.. Kisi aur ko deti hoon!
Karan(jealous): Chup chaap yahin rehna.. Mein hoon na.. Jitna pyaar aa raha hai mujhpar nikal do.. Samjhi?
Preeta laughed. Karan smiled seeing her and twirls her and back hugs her nuzzling around her neck.
Karan(huskily): Toh to be Mrs. Preeta Karan Luthra, kaisa lag raha hai aaj aapko ki aaj aapke bajarbattu ne aapko finally propose kar diya.
Preeta: Aaj mere liye world ka best day hai... Shaayad isse pehle khush mein jab maa se mili thi tab huyi thi.
A tear escaped her eye.
Karan turned her and wiped her tears and kissed her eyes.
Karan: Ab meri princess royegi toh yeh prince charming ke aankho se bhi baad behne lagegi. Tumhe pata hai na mein kitna emotional hoon. Ab mujhe ek sweet si smile do
Preeta smiled.
Karan: Perfect. Ab meri help bhi kardo na please.. Bag pack karne mein. Kal flight hai!
Preeta(surprised): Tumhaari flight kal hai?
Karan: Meri matlab tum bhi toh aa rahi ho na?
Preeta: Nahi, meri flight toh parso hai.. Tum kal chale jao.. Mein parso aa jaungi.
Karan(angry): Aur tumhe lagta hai mein tumhaari baat maanoonga? Tumhe saath leke jaunga. Tum akele aayi ho par jaogi wapas apne karele ke saath? Samjhi kareli?
Preeta was overwhelmed and hugged him.
Preeta:Achha theek hai. Par pehle Rishab ji ko inform kardo.
Karan: Hmm.. Tumhaare saath waali flight book karwa deta hoon.
Preeta: Theek hai.
Karan: Ab hamare paas ek aur din hai.. Kahaan ghoome? Tumhe kahin ghoomna hai?
Preeta: Haan woh...
Karan's phone starts ringing. It was Rakhi's call. Karan picks it up and puts it on speaker.
Karan: Hi mom.
Preeta: Khote de puttar! Mujhe pehle kyun nahi bataya preeta ke baare mein? Tujhe pata hai mein kitni khush hoon? Zindagi mein pehli baar tune koi achha kaam kiya hai.
Preeta starts laughing.
Karan: Kya mom! Apni hone waali bahu ke saamne meri beizzati kardi (to preeta) aur tum, To be Mrs. Luthra.. Tum apne hone waale pati par has rahi ho?
Preeta was about to argue when Rakhi interrupted
Rakhi: Khabardar tune meri bahu ko daanta toh..samjha?
Karan: Bahu ki padi hai.. Mein toh aapka beta hoon.
They have a fun talk with the family and Karan informs Rishab about the flight. They cut the call and ordered some food. Preeta fed Karan as his hand had swelled due to the match and he made her eat too.
Karan : Tum kuch bol rahi thi? Kya karna hai kal?
Preeta: Haan..meine suna hai yahaan ek garden route karke drive hai.. Jo bohot sundar hai.. Please wahaan chale? (makes a cute face)
Karan: Dekho.. Aisa chehra mat banao.. Chalenge toh waise bhi par tum itna cute chehra banaogi aur mera control nahi raha aur meine tumhe kiss karliya toh usme meri galti nahi hogi.
Preeta: Thank you.. Chalo ab kaafi der hogayi hai.. Tum rest karo.. Thak gaye hoge na?.. Mein jaati hoon.
She turned to go but Karan picked her in his arms and made her lie on the bed.
Karan: Chup chaap mere saath baithi raho. mujhe waise bhi neend aa rahi hai...tum bhi yahin so jao aaj.
Preeta widened her eyes.
Preeta: Tumhaare saath?
Karan: Waise toh roz raat ko mere saath so rahi ho pichle hafte se...Toh ab toh shaadi ho rahi hai na..
Preeta: Arre par.
Karan glared her. Preeta quietly picked up the duvet and laid down.
Preeta: Nahi ja rahi.. Khush?
Karan(happily): Bohot khush!! Tum leti raho mein paani leke aata hoon.. Khatam hogaya hai.
Karan went to take water and came back to see preeta sleeping. He smiled and sat beside her. He kissed her cheek and lay beside her. He closed the lights and slept hugging her in the same duvet.
Next morning,
Preeta woke up first due to the sunrays falling on her face. She blinked her eyes and woke up and saw Karan beside her. She smiled and was about to get up and go to her room when Karan pulled her.
Karan(irritated): Kya hai?.. Soti raho na
Preeta: Tum so na.. Mein jaati hoon. Ready hona hai aur bahaar bhi toh jaana hai.
But karan didn't let her go.
Karan: Bahaar shaam ko jaayenge.. Ab so jao.. Tumhaare saath bohot achhi neend aa rahi hai
She knew it was useless to fight with him. So she lay down on his chest and he too slept hugging her. They got up after sometime, freshened up, had breakfast and left for The Garden route.
In the car
Karan : Babydoll.. Aisa kya hai wahaan jo tum itni excited ho?
Preeta(excited): Meine suna hai wahan bohot alag phool, paudhe, panchi aur bohot kuch hota hai.
Karan smiled seeing her. After some time.
Karan: Lo aa gaye hum!
But she didn't respond. Karan looked at her. She was awestruck by the beauty of the place. She was speechless. Karan smirked seeing her. He leaned towards her and gave a small peck on her lips. She came back to her senses.
Preeta(stammering): Yeh kya tha?
Karan again gives a peck on her lips.
Karan(casually): Yeh tha..
Preeta: Tum abhi romance chodo aur saamne dekho.. Kitna sundar hai!
Karan(lost in her): Tumse zyaada nahi.
They shared an eyelock and then got down after sometime.

Preeta was feeling the cool breeze. The weather was peaceful and pleasant. It felt as if the weather was sun-kissed. Only the two were on the huge island. In short... Love was in the air. Karan went and backhugged her digging his face in her hair and inhaling her fragrance.

Hope you liked this part. Will be writing another ff very soon called "Tu chahiye".
It is briefly about Preeta's childhood friends who turn out to be Rishab's partners. It will be a short story only till the proposal.
