Things were finally going well for Leo. He had Calypso by his side and they were traveling all over the world doing whatever they pleased. Leo hadn't thought about Camp in a while... Until he had a crazy dream.

*In Leo's Dream*

Piper was sitting on a bench with Jason, head buried in his shirt, crying. Leo walked toward them and crouched, facing Piper.

"Hey Pipes," he put his hand on hers and smiled. She didn't respond. He looked up at Jason, frowning. "Um... Jace?" Jason didn't respond either. Leo rose slowly. The two still didn't look at him, so he did a 360, observing his surroundings. They were at Camp Half-Blood, by the basketball courts. He noticed one of the other Hephaestus campers walking past them so he ran up to her.

"Hey, Nyssa. What's going on?" Nyssa didn't acknowledge him. Now, Leo was used to being ignored, happened all the time, but people at least rolled their eyes, showed a sense of awareness. No one was even looking in his direction. And then he realized he was dreaming. And not just any dream. This was live footage from camp. He decided to make his way back over to Piper and Jason and listen in on what they were talking about.

"J-Jason," she stuttered, "it's been 6 months. Oh gods of Olympus I miss him so much!" She cried again, her tears soaking Jason's clothes. It took a moment, but Leo finally realized that she was talking about him. His eyes got wide and it hit him how long he'd been away from his friends, so he willed himself to wake.

When he opened his eyes, he saw the stars above his head and Calypso lying 2 feet from him, sleeping peacefully. Leo watched Calypso for a few moments, her look of serenity made him smile. He reluctantly placed a hand on her arm, and called her name quietly until she awoke.

"Morning, sunshine." He said to her, helping her up. She got up and rubber her eyes.

"Why are we up so early?" She asked him, pouting. He smiled at her.
"I had a dream. Pack your bags, because we're getting out of here." She frowned at him.

"Leo, we're in the most gorgeous island of the Caribbean. And you want to leave? Where to?" Leo looked at her uneasily, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Actually, we're headed home,"

"Home?"

"Yeah," he nodded, "like, Camp home." Calypso took a step back, the surprise clear on her face.

"I don't think we should do that. Let's continue traveling, there's no war to fight, take some time off." Something about her seemed off, but Leo wasn't going to point that out.

"It's been 6 months. Jason, Piper and them are worried. That's what I saw in my dream. They miss me. I didn't think they would, but they think I'm dead. I'm going back. There's not really any changing my mind there." Calypso's expression hardened.

"Fine. But I won't be joining you." She stated simply, picking up what was left of her stuff by the shore. Leo was confused and just stood there, looking at her, a puzzled look on his face.
"You can't be serious, Calypso. What about the past 6 months we just spent together?" Calypso shrugged.

"They were pretty nice. I only stayed with you because I wanted the free travel and all of the attention. I was only going to stay until I found the place I really loved and then I'd wait until you decided to go back to camp. yeah, it was a lot faster than I expected, but now it's time we part ways. I only willed myself to love you so you'd find a way off my island and come back for me. And you did. But now it's time you went back to your life and I go off to live mine." Leo looked at her with tears forming in his eyes.

"I can't believe you... I thought... I thought you actually cared." he turned around, slowly making his way to Festus. The last thing he heard before flying away with the dragon, was Calypso yelling to him.

"Oh please, Leo, don't be so gullible. you should've known I was only using you. I'm IMMORTAL!"

Leo flew off towards camp, tears flowing freely down his face.

As Leo made his way back to Long Island, he had a good amount of time to reflect and think about what happened with Calypso. "Forget her," he told himself. "She never deserved you, you'll find your dream girl eventually."

And with that, he fell asleep on Festus, only waking when the dragon woke him, landing roughly by Bunker 9.
