jacks pov:
i sit down with my coffee looking at all of the happy couples. one caught my eye.he sat there laughing. his eyes lighting up and squinting slightly as he smiled crookedly. his smile was wider than it was with me. i guess he is happier. i got up and left. i cant stay there and be anywhere near him when he is with someone else.
someone who he loves.
after a short walk i find myself at daniels house. after around 20 minutes of me and daniel sitting in his room, me crying him comforting me, daniel mumbles "jack someday you will be happy too."
i just fake smile to hide the truth. i was happier with him.
1 month is how long we have been apart and you are happier.
i jump at the sudden sound of a text coming through my phone. i read over the text before sighing and replying to his text.

me: if he breaks your heart like lovers do just know that i will be waiting here for you.
