I laid across my bed listing to the rain hit my window. The weather in the Heights has been like this for the last 2 days. I climbed out of bed and walked down the stairs. The house was extremely quite which meant my brother & mother are both at work.

I opened the front door and stepped onto the porch. My neighbor Alexander Apollo was sitting in the rain. Our eyes connected causing Alexander look away. I frowned my brows at him and made my way back inside. The rain is coming down harder than before.

I walked inside the kitchen and got a bottle of soda & a bag of chips. I walked back inside the living room and said on the couch. I turned on the television and turned to BET. I eat my junk food & watch lottery ticket. (A/n: I'm watching that now lol)

The movie was finally of when I got of the couch and looked out the window. The rain was still coming down hard to the point where I could barely see across the street. I fixed my long sleeve crop top and put and uggs on. I grabbed my car keys & my pea coats and walked out front door. I ran out to my car got inside. I crunked up the car and drove to the nearest Chinese store.

I'm hungry and ion feel like cooking nothing plus its raining. I turned on the radio. Can You Stand The Rain was playing.

[Johnny:] On a perfect day I know that I can count on you. when that's not possible tell Me can you weather the storm?

[Ralph:] Cause I need some body who will stand by me through the good times and bad Times she will always, always be right there.

[Johnny:] (yeah yeah) love unconditional I'm not asking just of you. and girl to make it Last I'll do whatever needs to be done.

[Ralph:] Will you be there for me

[Mike:] Come on baby lets go get wet

[Ralph:] Can you stand the rain? Will you be there girl? Storms will come for sure. Can you stand the rain?

[Johnny:] Yeah it's hard but I'll know I'll be right there baby yeah yeah yeah.

After getting my food I drove back home. My brothers Benz was parked in my spot. I rolled my eyes and shut my car off. The rain finally lightened up a bit. I got out the car and walked inside the house.

" David I'm home ! "

" I know Nigga how was ya day? "

" Boring Duh I stayed inside all day."

" Oh I see that dude. "

" What dude ?"

"That Apollo Alexander nigga "

" Damn ass his name is Alexander Apollo Jackass and so what why ya tell me? "

" He asked where you here. "

" Oh "
