I sat there staring at him for a few minutes in an awkward silence. "Are you going to answer me?" I asked in a timid, quiet voice. I was still scared of him and what he might do to me if he got angry. To my surprise he just looked at me with a small grin on his face. "I might!" was all he said.
He stood up slowly, and stood looking over me. "Are you going to answer my Question? Do you want some food?" He said slowly and calmly. I copied his actions and stood up slowly. He turned around to face the door and began walking away from me. I stood watching him as he left the room. Finally some peace. Well so I thought.
"Are you coming or not?" he said as he popped his head around the door. I let out a small sigh and began to follow him. We went down a long corridor and when we reached the end I saw the staircase that we had walked up on the first day I had arrived. By the time I had reached the top of the stairs he was already at the bottom. That's when something else dawned on my. "What's your name I shouted to him at the bottom of the stairs. He didn't stop walking so I had to run down the stairs to catch up with him. He stopped in front of a door without me realising and I ran into him at full speed. I fit into him so hard that it caused my to fall out backwards. I fit the floor with a thud and I let out a small whimper. He turned around chuckling to himself. He stood watching me for a second before put out his hand to help me up. I nervously give him my hand as he pull me to my feet.
His hands felt icy cold but at the same time strangely comforting. As soon as I was on my feet he let go of my hand and turned back to the door and opening it. I followed him into the room and was amazed by what I saw. It was a huge kitchen, everything was made of white marble and shone as the sunlight hit it. It was mind blowing.
I went over to the counter were he was stood and he gestured for me to sit on one of the stools. I sat down quickly, still a little shocked from walking into him, and rested my elbows on the counter. It was cold but I didn't care.
"Oh, hello James, what can I get you?" I heard a voice saying behind me. "So your name is James!" I said as I realised what his name was. "Yes, now what do you want to..." "I don't care also long as it is food!" I said cutting him off. He laughed at me and looked at the person that was stood behind me. I slowly turned around to find myself face to face with a little, short lady. She had dark blue hazel eyes and blond brown hair. She was stunning.
"Hi, my names Emily. What's yours?" she asked but before I could answer James butted in. "This is Lyric, the girl I was telling you about!" he told the lady and she smiled at me. "So how do pancakes with chocolate sauce sound to you?" she asked and I instantly started nodding. I loved pancakes more than anything but at home I was only allowed them on special occasions like my my birthday. Without another word she walked over to the fridge and started pulling out a bowl. I sat watching her as she began to make the pancakes.
"Emily is our cook. Ask her for anything and she can make it. And I mean anything!" James said pulling me out of my thoughts. He walked over to Emily and put his arm around her. "She is the best." he said and she began to blush. This was a completely new side to James that I had never seen before. I trusted this James. He began to walk out to me slowly and sat on the stool next to me. He took my hand in his and stared into my eyes.
"What are you thinking?" he said. "Who was with you the day you took my?" I asked in a calm voice. He looked at me with a sorry looking face and then he said, "Two of my mates!"
I looked at him for a moment. "Can I meet them?" I said and he looked at me with a confused look on his face.
"If you really want to." he said and then he stood and left the room. While he was gone Emily gave the pancakes and we began to talk. We talked about the food I liked and disliked and I told her that my favourite food of all time was chocolate cake. She smiled at this and walked over to the fridge again. This time she pulled out a two tiered chocolate cake that was covered in chocolate butter icing.
"I thought you would like it." she said smiling at me. "How did you know that I would like chocolate cake?" I asked with a huge goofy grin on my face. The was amazing. The best cake I have ever seen in my life. "Everyone loves chocolate cake so I thought you might like it as a bit of a comfort for what James and his mates have done to you." she said as she placed the cake on the counter in front of me. It took everything I had in me to stop myself from digging into it.
That's when I heard the door click. Now it was my turn to get my revenge. I turned around on the stool to find myself face to face with the three people that took me always from everything I new. I stood up and walk up to them all.
"Hi, my names Lyric!" I said with a smile grin on my face. "We know!" the taller of the two men said. I put my hand out to shake his hand and he did the same. As he held my hand I pulled him closer to me and kneed him between his legs. He curled over in pain so I pulled up my knee of a second time and hit him in the face this time. He fell to the floor and as I was about to kick him in the stomach I was pulled away by James and his other friend. they pinned me up against the wall and I tried to fight them of. when I realised they weren't going to let me go I began to relax. This is when they made a big mistake. They loosened their grip and I broke free. This time I went for the other guy.
He was shorter than James so his face was at my height. This time I went for his face. I through my fist at his face and hit him right on the nose. The next thing I knew I was Pinned up against the wall by James who had his hand around my neck. Oh know what was he going to do to me this time. He pushed my head to the side and bit down hard on my neck. The pain was the worst that I had ever felt and it shot through my body like electric. That's when I blacked out.
