Waring Nations (Zodiacs)

Empty Threat

Years has past, most of the Zodiacs have taken on more responsibilities, leading a country, Military and settling internal chaos.

On this particular union only 3 Zodiacs decided to show up, Pisces, Cancer and Sagittarius.

Pisces is still the Princess but has taken the role as regent for her father, the king. While growing up her mother's genes starting taking over and her hair turned white over time. Pisces has successfully established her kingdom as a trading mecca.

It was late and Pisces was walking the halls.

Cancer: Princess Pisces?

(Cancer clearly got a haircut and became King of Kanata, he's well known for excellent negotiation skills. He also commands an elite Unit whos specialty is fighting in severe weather nickname the Titans)

Pisces: Cancer! and you dont have to keep calling princess, especially when we're here.

Cancer: Right, anyways, has Sagittarius arrived yet.

Pisces: He should arrive by tomorrow morning.

Cancer: That's good news shall we greet him when he arrives?

Pisces: Yes we shall.

The next day comes and the horns go off signalling the arrival of Prince Sagittarius.

Pisces and Cancer met in the hallway before walking out.

Cancer sticks his arms out and offers to escort her, Pisces takes his arm and both of them made their way to Sagittarius.

Sagittarius is the crowned prince, he rules his kingdom, but because of old traditions, he cannot assume King until he is married. On another note he has been expanding his kingdom by exploring the untamed western lands. His nation is also responsible for delivering messages between each kingdom.

Sagittarius: Ah, Pisces and Cancer, it's always nice to see you so close together.

Cancer and Pisces tried to hide their blushing.

Cancer Pisces and Sagittarius are the only ones who show up these unions, occasionally but rarely other Zodiacs would come by as well.

After catching up and discussing boring politics the three of them decided to take a break.

Cancer: So Sagittarius how is your adventure through the wildwest?

Sagittarius: In truth? Not so well.

Cancer: Oh, how so?

Sagittarius: it's been really slow, due to low numbers of men, barbarian attacks and unknown species of plants and animals.

Pisces: Is there anything we can do to help?

Cancer: I don't mind sending some volunteers, but in return I need some of your fastest horses, haha.

Sagittarius: I appreciate the concern, but the problem lies within the council, ever since the last emperor passed away, there's been no one to lead them.

Cancer: Why not become king, you are in line for the throne.

Sagittarius: Becoming king requires a bride and I want to marry out of love than necessity.

Cancer: Understandable.

The conversation continued on.

Sagittarius stops the conversation

Sagittarius: Pisces, what is wrong?
You have not chimed in as much as you would.

Cancer walks over to Pisces and places his hand on her shoulder.

Cancer: Are you not feeling well, do you need a healer?

Pisces: What happened to us?

Sagittarius and Cancer look at each other with confusion.

Pisces: I'm referring to our old friends.

Cancer: Pisces you know their lives have gotten very busy, they have no time or reason to come anymore.

Sagittarius: The way most of them see it is as nothing more than a playdate, there hasn't been any conflicts between our nations.

Cancer: Yes, when our parents ruled, they were still sorting out land, trade routes and alliances, now that it's all sorted out, this place has become obsolete.

Pisces:well If they need a reason we'll give them a reason.

Sagittarius: What are you thinking?

Pisces: Sagittarius, I want to deliver a declaration or war on all nations.

Sagittarius:...... uhhhh.

Cancer steps in.

Cancer: Pisces, maybe we can start with something small before a declaration of war.

Pisces: Isn't this the best way to get their attention?

Cancer: Indeed it might work, but remember, they are our friends.

Pisces: I understand, it's just, I want everyone to be here.

Sagittarius: Even if you were to declare war, what army do you have to back it up? without that it's just an empty threat.

Pisces: Won't you guys come to my aid?

Sagittarius: No doubts there Pisces, but even with Cancer's special Units we will be severely outnumbered by Princess Taurus' army 10 to 1, and if that's not enough, Aries has been given the name Warrior Princess, due to her leadership and ferocity on the battlefield.

Pisces: Ok so what do you suggest we do.

Sagittarius: I honestly don't know, I admit I miss having the others around.

Cancer: I have an idea!

Pisces eyes lit up.

Ok Sagittarius I need you to deliver a message telling the leaders to meet her in two months for negotiations.

Sagittarius: what negotiations and again, what do we do to back up this demand?

Cancer: Threaten them to cut off all trade with who ever doesn't show up, and they'll have no access to your messengers.

Pisces: are you sure this will work?

Cancer: Its a credible threat, Pisces, you basically control all trading, cutting them out will severely affect their economy, and Sagittarius, your messengers are what keep us, all of us informed, without that we're blind to the outside world.

Sagittarius: You know, it just might work, or it will severely fail and we'll have a war on our hands.

Pisces: Thank you Cancer, Sagittarius.

Cancer: we're doing this for all of us.

Within two weeks all the nations have received the message sent by Princess Pisces of Dos Luna, the trading mecca of the world, Prince Sagittarius of the Western Empire who's messengers inform every kingdom on what's going on outside the walls, and King Cancer, the master of negotiation and Commander of the Titans.
