Facing Desire

It Begins

There was a girl working at the book store, she was around 5'6, she had beautiful brown hair and blue eyes, and she wore slim glasses. She was smart, a bit timid, and she could be quite compulsive at times, her name was Serena. She had been working at this bookstore for a while, it was her father's, she loved it she spent almost every day there with her father...until..he passed away. She had a mother as well, but she was always so busy traveling, she was a marine biologist and never really had time to be home with her daughter. Serena never really played much attention to her mother though, she knew she was busy, she just loved the bookstore it was her house upstairs and her job she loved downstairs , she almost never left but if course she would only go out for errands or on a special occasion.

She was working just like she did almost everyday, she was talking with her boyfriend, he was a tall,6'0 guy with pink hair and yellow eyes , he was extremely shy, however he felt comfortable with Serena, polite and respectful, his name was Anthony. They were talking, Serena was 21 and tony(that's what he likes her to call him) was 19.

"I gotta go, I'll see u tomorrow love," Tony said as he kissed her cheek and walked to the door.

"Bye sweetie" she said smiling. She let out a sigh looking at the empty store, she kept think about her relationship, her and tony had been friends since they were little and he even comforted her when her father died, she loved him a lot but she just wanted to start a family and settle down, but every time she brought up the idea, he simply told her she wasn't ready and he still wanted to finish college so he could have a stable job. She respected his decision but she wanted to start a family so badly, she was also upset about something else. Since Tony was such a sweet, honest boy he didn't want to have sex until he felt they would both be ready and it was always a weird topic between them. Serena felt weird that she had thought of this so many times but she really loved him and she thought she could show him with that. She was just staring off into space thinking and a customer was standing there trying to get her attention.

"W...what!? Oh I'm sorry sir .." she said quickly snapping back to reality.

The man chuckled, "its alright miss" he replied smoothly. He was about 5'9, had dark blue hair and had beautiful blue eyes. "I'm looking for an entertaining book, can u help me?" He asked looking directly into her eyes.

"O...oh um yes what kind of books are u interested in," she said trying not to get lost in his eyes.

"Maybe horror....mystery...or of course romance ~" he said smirking a bit.Her face turned pink and she nearly choked on her words.

"O....OK" she quickly replied and guided him to the romance novels, trying to remind herself she had a boyfriend. He studied the books carefully taking quick glances at her while she wasn't looking. She would look over to find him staring and she blushed violently and looked away. Almost in a blink of an eye she felt his presence next to her. He held a book in his hand and she walked him to the counter to sell it to him.

"May I ask your name" he said smiling at her.

"S...Serena...my name's Serena," she said trying to block him out, while scanning the book.

"Ah what a lovely name for a lovely girl," he said staring at her smooth face. "Is there something wrong dear, Serena," he said lifting up her chin with his smooth fingers.

" I....I have a boyfriend!" She blurted out barely realizing what she said.

"What a shame... but I guess its obvious another man would she your marvelous beauty~" he said leaning his face towards her. She pulled away from him nervously, with tears in her eyes. He moved towards her, getting closer and closer,they were both behind the counter and the store had just closed.

"Tell me..." he stroked her hair tenderly. "Does your...boyfriend...give u as much pleasure as I can~" he said as he leaned his lips to hers.

"T...this is wrong.." she said as she was trying so desperately to get away from him.

"I can please u my dear...if you'd just let me~" he said as he kissed her passionately.
