Maggie mae you have taken her away

As I was saying I'm a big 60's girl so I wake up extra early to do my hair in a big 60's poof even though it will get ruined by spit balls later. I love flowers so I wear plenty of them. My getting ready for school routine is hair, makeup, eat, dress, brush teeth then the rest is free time. I've always walk to school. It's to much of a struggle to get on the bus. I like to walk to school with my head phones in blocking out the world one song at a time. When I arrive at school I walk down the same hallways the first one is quiet then next one is the birds and jocks. I get tripped and catch myself I get pelted with spit balls, same old same. I get to all my classes and live through them all. I had to stay a little after school to finish writing a poem for my advance writing class it's ok I guess.

I've always wanted to take another route back from school but have never gotten the chance but I wanted to try. Instead of going through town I would go through the woods to the main road walk across and get home faster. Plus it would be safer.
As I take that route I get a little frightened I'm all alone in the woods, my eyes keep playing tricks on my mind.

I had to cross a tiny stream which was rather risky. Trees aren't the safest thing to be climbing on. I walked up a steep hill and finally made it to the main road it's pretty hard to cross knowing that it's rush hour but it's still the shortest route.

I make it home in 9 minutes I came just in time for supper. I eat fast and ask if I can take my Maggie Mae for a walk to do the same route I just did, of course my mom says yes and I bolt. My dog Maggie is well trained so she doesn't really mess up I cross the main road and me and Maggie Mae explore the woods.

I guess Maggie likes to chase animals and things like that because she was dragging me everywhere. It was getting very dark so I decide to start walking back. I turn on my portable radio and Maggie Mae comes on I say to my dog "oh Maggie Mae this is your song."
I start to sing along. "Oh Maggie Maggie Mae they have taken her away and she won't be walking lime street anymore." Right when I finished that sentence Maggie Mae pulled me with the leash I had her on into the main road the leash came undone and I was stuck in the middle of a road I had just enough time to look up and see my dog ran off the road and the ground under me was just the air and I was landed inside a car I had just enough time to feel pain before my vision went away.

Then a light came to me. A road that led to a door I walked down the road leading to the door stumbling as I walk I still wasn't aware of what was going on. I walked closer and closer till I was touching the door handle I slowly turned the nob as I looked passed the door I saw a sidewalk surrounded by walls I walked in closed the door and all the walls disappeared I was left on a sidewalk on a busy street filled with tons of people dressed in very 60's looking clothes. I went with the crowed and ended up in a park where a band was playing but I don't think it was any band. I finally realized what what happening. I just wondered was I alive or am I a lifeless girl with no heartbeat.
I needed to know but I don't know how I will find out.
