Part Two

Blake P.O.V

i was sitting on the sofa , surfing the internet , eric was sleeping next to me on the couch, when suddenly my phone started ringing , it was dad, i picked it up to be surprised by the unfamiliar voice "you're Blake ,right?" "yes" "um...your parents are in the hospital" , i was shocked , the room started to spin ,"WHAT HAPPEND" "they got into a really bad car crash, and they are in a very bad condition " , i tried to hold my tears , as eric woke up to me screaming, he was worried "what's wrong?" , I didn't answer , I just told him to wear his shoes while I bring the car keys

we drove to the hospital , I ran carrying eric to the doctor , "what happend doctor?" i asked , "a drunk driver hit them with his truck which caused the car to flip over several time" eric started crying , i hugged him tightly

at that moment , i turned my heart into a huge cage , to lock my screams and tears behind its bars, i can't cry , i have to be strong for my brother , he didn't deserve what happend, he should be playing , laughing,running not crying i didn't let go of him, he slept on my shoulder,

i called james my best friend to come over , when he arrived i told him what had happend , i was turning 18 in three days , so i filled up some papers , after 4 hours of waiting , the doctor told us something I didn't expect

they were gone, dad died from brian injury and mom died from lungs damage , because of that car crash , our lives were turned upside down

we went home , eric sobbing on my shoulder , my heart broke into million pieces, i didn't sleep that night , I was trying to accept the fact that my parents left me to take care of eric alone

"what are going to do" james asked , i looked over to my brother sleeping , "i will be his guardian" "WHAT!" "yeah , i have to take care of him, he is my brother, the only one left to me" james smiled at me , he slept over , tomorrow is the funeral, every thing is happening so fast
