Part 2

The next few days I hung out with Kaminari.

"I can't wait until school begins." Denki sighed.

"Why? It's school. Even if it's YuuEi."

"I don't care. It's gonna be awesome." He smiled.

"Okay then. What are you expecting from YuuEi?"

"Uhh, heroes teaching...cool lessons...special events...that kinda stuff."

"Uhuh. I expect normal lessons, but from heroes. Also some special events, but not much so they don't interfere with our studies."

"I see. So you're a nerd."

"I'm not a nerd. I know this from people like Present Mic and Erasure Head."

"Erasure who?"

"He hates being in the media."

"I see..."

It was already about 10 p.m. Denki got a call.

"Moment."

He picked up and walked a few steps so I was out of hearing range. After a minute he came back. He looked a bit sad.

"What's wrong?"

"What? Oh, nothing much. Argument with parents."

Time skip

It was the first day of school. Denki and I were going to meet up at the playground. He came pretty late.

"If you were a minute later I would've gone by myself." I said.

"We're already going to be late."

"We're not."

I created light wings and grabbed Denki.

"Hold on Kaminari-kun." I told him.

Denki grabbed me and I took off. He clung to me for dear life because we we're flying above the trees.

"This is awesome!" He yelled.

"Don't be so loud."

I landed near the entrance gate and Denki let go.

"Oh my god! We need to do that more often!"

"You mean you clinging to me while I fly around?"

"Yes! It was awesome!"

"...okay...."

"Let's go inside. I can't wait to see all the classmates."

We started walking.

"I'm sure you are. I, for one, don't care about the classmates."

"Why not?"

"I'm not here to make 'friends'."

"But you're my friend. And I will get friends. So they're gonna be your friends too."

"First, you sound like a 5-year-old, second, who says you're gonna get friends?"

"How rude." Denki said, fake offended.

"Hm, yeah. Because otherwise I'm so nice."

"I think you're nice." Denki quickly said.

"Oh? That's something I never really hear...it's kinda nice." I admitted.

Denki gave me a smile. We walked to our classroom. A couple of others were already there.
