Lonesome

Why?

When i got home, my sister wasn't there. She wasn't answering her phone either. I was wondering what was going on. While waiting for her to contact me, i went online and started crying right away. There were pictures of me and austin online and all the comments were awful. Some said "this girl is so ugly! i don't see why anybody, especially Austin would like her." I read more. Finally, i stopped because i couldn't take it anymore. I called Austin since i was too sad to text.
"Hello?" he picked up on first ring.
"Hi Austin. i know it's weird to be calling you when we just met but it's kind of important."
"Are you crying?" I couldn't even speak. I just started sobbing.
"Remi! What's your address?" i told him where i live.
"i'll be there in 10 minutes, okay? It'll be alright, whatever it is."
"It involves you. You'll see. See you then." We hang up. While waiting, i listen to music. That always cheers me up. suddenly, my sister texts me.
"Hey Rem. Sorry i didn't call. had to go to go somewhere. be home in 20."
Weird. Austin was about to be here.
"Hi Remi. What's wrong?" He asked as he was coming to sit down on my bed. i showed him.
"Oh. This is awful! Why would someone do this?"
"i'm used to it. my whole life is full of hate."
"never say that."
"it's true austin. i can't help im a failure." I started telling him my life story and the real reason i moved out of my parents house. I was sobbing the whole time. Austin was comforting me and i was so happy that i actually had a real friend. At that point my sister came home.
"This is Austin."
"Austin, this is my sister."
"Its nice to meet you! i was just leaving."
"why dont you join us for dinner? I'm sure Remi will enjoy a meal with a friend." I love my sister. She knows when to say things. Dinner was so fun. it was filled with laughter and smiles and let me tell you, it felt good to smile. After 4 years.
"Thank you so much for coming over Austin. you have no idea how much all this meant to me. im glad to call you my friend."
"Anytime you need me, always call. Ill be here."
"See you tomorrow."
"Chao."
My sister and I spend time talking about my day.
"Im glad you had a good day. Do you have any supplies yet? wanna go shopping?"
"Yeah. give me 5."
We go to staples and then the mall. Its so fun! We just have fun trying on all different kinds of clothes and messing around. It feels nice to have fun. when we're leaving, i couldn't believe who i saw.
