The hell" His arm remained interlocked with mine, the soft sounds of our shoes hitting the cement below us rang through our ears as we roamed the empty amusement park. "Quite so, I had it cleared out and reserved just for us today, we have it all to ourselves. So indulge yourself in it!" His smooth voice rang out causing a rush of adrenaline to spark, oh how i was going to enjoy today. We now stood in the center of the huge park, the large statue before us was way more intriguing then any ride. "its a huge...you. Sick, imma climb it" "Indeed it is me, i had it made from the finest craftsmansh-Wait what?" By the time he had processed what i had said, it was too late. I had unlocked our arms and began my climb, my wooden sandals dropped to the ground with a 'clank' just barely missing Mephisto, he jumped back in surprise as a little scream left his mouth for two reasons. One, being almost hit by shoes, Two, i was rubbing my bare feet all over the statue of himself. "Oh how this must crush your pride" He regained his composure and retorted, his response making me almost lose my balance. "Actually, I get quite a good view from down here" I completely forgot that i was wearing one of his loose Yukata's with nothing underneath but underwear, my bottom half exposed for him to see, "Shut up pervert or i swear i will come down there and snap your neck" "Oh, you could try, but the end result would be nothing but a miserable fail" Groaning in annoyance and using the statues shoulder as a stool, i climbed upon his head using his curl to keep me steady. "Never imagined myself sitting on your head when i signed up for this" "I quite like this position dear, we should try it out" "Imma kill you Pervert!!" I hissed out seeing his smug smirk taunting me, "Shall we?" His large form slightly leaned forward as his arm motioned for us to move on forward. "We shall, only if you let me wear your hat for the rest of the day" Hesitance was evident as his cocky grin faltered for a second seeing the evil smile make its way onto my face "Deal, now get down from up there before you hurt yourself" "Yes mother" A tinge of pain struck my heart when using that word but it was momentary, i used the image of Mephisto's traumatized face to make me laugh, of course, earning a weird glance from him. I did the unexpected and jumped hoping the fall wouldn't break my ankles, luckily he had quick reflexes and ran to my assistance and caught me in his arms, holding me bridal style.
"I believe we had an agreement" A little weight was added to my head feeling the large top hat slowly slip on while my feet made contact with the ground, "That one" I pointed in the direction where stood a tall ride. "Splendid taste dear, that leisurely takes you up to the top so you have the most magnificent view of Mepphy land. Highly recommended" "That one it is" We commenced our way towards it, my nerves kicking in at its intimidating height. I took a step back only to feel the strong grip of two hands being placed onto my shoulders, slightly applying pressure as his wicked grin unnerved me. "No backing out now" With the blink of the eye he was securely strapping me in, my hands beating against his chest in a feeble attempt to escape. "I am going to love this" He strapped himself in beside me and clicked his fingers causing the ride to calmly move up. "Its not that bad actually" We had made it to the top and hovered there for a few moments, my stomach having a strong disliking for the height. "My apologies dear, hold onto the hat will you. I must have forgotten to inform you about the drop" I rested my hand on my head keeping his hat fixed to me. "What dro-" I was cut short feeling whatever was holding us let go, we plummeted to the ground and i could physically feel my stomach become one with my throat as i screamed at the top of my lungs. The lunatic next to me laughed in utter joy upon seeing me scream in fear, my hand subconsciously shot for his and held it with a death like grip, his laughter and any trace of joy vanished feeling my fingers intertwine with his and hold as if i was to let go i would fall. Unknowingly to me, he smiled softly as a sense of comfort coursed through his veins all the while i screamed my ass off. The ride eventually caught itself and lowered us to the ground, my breathing came out shaky and deep. "I hate you" "Such cruel words" I was still in too much of a trance to notice he had gently pulled his hand from mine and unstrapped himself, his hands fumbling around with the safety lock on mine. "Fancy another ride?" "Yep, just..give me...a few minutes" A deep sigh left his lips in disappointment, my body hunched over desperately trying to catch my breath. I caught a glimpse of his kneeling figure reaching out for me, one arm slipping under my legs and the other resting on my back as he picked me up.
"Wha-Hey! Le-" "I sure hope you are not going to be like this after every ride, my arms would break off" "Don't carry me then!" "But its much easier this way, also somewhat romantic don't you think?" "Die" "Woah~ What did i do to deserve that?" "Such bad flirting for a 'noble' demon king, Rin Okumura can flirt better than you" He let out a low growl and slightly dug his nails into me, "Do not ever compare me to that lowly worm again, understood" My body tensed up as a weak whimper escaped me, from the aura emitting from him i could tell he was pissed. His green hues refusing to look down at me but continued walking "Sorry" he must have felt slightly guilty hearing me apologize because he loosened his grip and sympathetically smiled, his eyes softening. "That was my fault dear, i lost my composure for a second. Lets just disregard that conversation, okay? look, we're at the next ride" Hesitantly climbing out of his grip i walked over to the flashy roller coaster, 'Go To Hell' written in bold letters on the sign that hung on the side of the coaster. "I will meet you there" I attempted cracking a joke but it ended up being really awkward due to him not having a reaction, "Lest just go" I walked off to the carts and sat at the front.
Mini Timeskip
Pale hands pulled as hard as they could at the straps of my seat, insuring that i was securely tucked in. This was one of the most dangerous rides in the amusement park, well that was the impression i was getting from the way he explained it to me, 'My magnificent creation, Fireball!' It had 6 sets of 4 seats making the shape of a hexagon, and by the way it looked it swings pretty high and spins in mid air. It was too late to back out now so i impatiently waited for Mephisto to take his seat beside me, however he did the exact opposite of that and sat at the seats directly in front of me. I gave him a questionable look mixed with fear, he was enjoying this, he wanted to watch me scream in terror, it would fuel his ego. "Oh, Did you want me to sit with you?" His smug grin rubbed me the wrong way, he wanted me to beg and even if i did he would still not sit with me. "I don't need you!" "Okey Dokey, lets get going~" It began to swing slowly and sped up gaining height all the while i could feel his eyes burning into me every single second, not daring to look away. "Hows the view up there?" He yelled across, currently i was higher up in the air but changed when it swung him backwards causing him to be on top while i was below "Its great!" The ride sped up swinging higher and higher to the point we were almost vertical from the ground, the worst of it kicked in as it began spinning as well as swinging. He must have seen the look on my face and yelled over the wind trying to scold me, "Don't you dare put your bodily fluids on my ride!" "Screw you" My stomach gurgled feeling the vomit ready to come back up, every one of my limbs became too heavy to move. 'Click' My eyes shot open in fear upon realization that the clinking sound came from my chair, its belts tearing due to too much pressure. No words could form, my entire being shaking knowing that i was about to be the one hanging upside down. My subconscious yelling at me "Mephisto" Not loud enough "Mephisto" LOUDER "Mephisto" AGAIN "Mephisto!" DO YOU WANT TO SURVIVE!? "MEPHIST-AHH!" My body fell from the chair and in a panic i swung my arms and grabbed onto the loose belt by the skin of my teeth, I held on as tight as i could feeling myself slip, my hands growing unbearably sweaty.
"(Y/N)!" I was too caught up in my own problem that i failed to notice Mephisto was gone, he was no longer in his chair but was holding onto mine hanging above me, his hand reaching out for mine while his hair and cape violently whipped around him. "Grab my hand. Quick!" I had no time to waste if i grabbed his hand i must let go of what i'm holding onto first, there was no guarantee it was going to work but i couldn't care less right now. My finger tips brushed against his, "For Fucks Sake" He groaned out feeling the machine reverse itself and begin to swing us backwards and up, "(Y/n), look at me. Do you trust me, i need you to say it" For the first time ever he looked scared, his eyes holding every negative emotion such as worry, pain, fear and doubt.
