Percy

I walked into the office to pay for my lesson as I handed the money over a piece of paper caught my eye, I turned and looked at it and it was a pony for sale I imideatly fell in love. Sara that pony is for sale if you want to check him out he is in the pony paddock, in fact you are riding him for you're lesson as no one else can ride him as he is to experienced. I quickly ran down to his paddock and looked around for him and there he was the magnificent black pony, I clucked my tongue and he lifted his head and came trotting over. Hey there boy I wonder what you're name is I know I'm going to call you percy, as if he knew that was his name he knickerd in agreement.

I knew he wasn't my pony yet but he will be. Once I tied him in the shed a tone of kids came over and started crowding him I said guys go away he needs space, I tacked him up and put my favourite ear bonnet on him and went and got my gloves and helmet."ok guys mount up lesson starting in 5". Then all these thoughts went through my mind, "I don't even know this pony,how do I know he's not going to buck", I untied percy and mounted him and gave him a tap he suddenly jolted forward n
Now that's one thing I know he's very sensitive. "Ok every one hailys group you are going to be doing some jumping in the arena and my group we are going to be doing dressage",once in the arena we got to do a free warm up Percy was very confused and jittery, then I got him into a Rhythem and he calmed down. "Alright buddy we are going to try a canter take all the time you need", it took him a couple of tries to get on the right lead and in no time Hayley was saying" well look who we have here our superstar of the group but can he be a superstar at jumping".

"Ok percy you can show us how to jump but remember sara we don't know if he can jump very well so take him over that Oxer a couple of times".
3,2,1,jump", I say in my mind, "land,1,2,3,4". Everyone all around me claps as I make my finishing circle and take percy back to a trot. Well done sara give him a big pat,at the end of our lesson I untracked him and took him out for a wash. Percy I really want to buy you you're perfect to ride and a perfect jumper may I add. As I went into the office to eat my lunch everyone was looking at me, I sat down kinda scared that I had done something wrong. "Sara that ride with Percy was magnificent you should buy him you guys are a team together,any way next week we are doing a three day event and I would love you to come and compete and you can ride percy". "Really I would love that and I will buy percy he's a dream to ride".after begging my parents they finally let me buy percy for $6000, it was the first day of the one day event and we are doing dressage we had to get up at 3:30am to braid and get our horses ready.

Percy jolted awake after hearing his name "Percy wakey wakey buddy", after getting him concentrated I led him up to the she'd were most of the other tired horses were. After tying percy up I went and got his brushes and bands for his mane and tail, "ok guys you have 3 hours to get your horses ready then we will be getting them warmed up for a very big day". Oh crap, crap,crap, I can't believe I forgot to polish Percy's saddle oh shit I better tell Hayley. "Hayley I'm so sorry but can you finish braiding percy I forgot to polish his saddle", sure sara go ahead remember to change his leathers to dressage stirrups.after much effort with percy and his tack we finally headed down to the arena and started warming up.
