I pinned her against the wall. Holding the knife to her throat she spoke.
"P-please don't kill me! I have three fish! They can't survive on their own! They need me!"
I growled and pushed her a little harder.
"Drop the purse." I growled.
She flinched, shakily grabbed her her purse, and before throwing it on the ground, she slipped something into her pocket.
I watched her throw the purse.
"What did you put in your pocket?" I growled, once again.
"N-Nothing! It's empty." Her eyes lying.
"If I wanted to act stupid, I would have joined circus." I said narrowing my dark brown eyes.
"It's not worth anything. It's just something sentimental to me."
"Drop it. Do I have to make my self anymore clear?" I demanded, loosing my patience.
She shook her head and hesitated before she dropped it.
"See That wasn't that hard was it?" I asked.
She didn't say anything, but lowered her teary eyes to the concrete under our feet. Her chestnut brown hair falling around her face.
I smirked and took a step back, still pointing the knife at her. I bent down slowly and picked up the purse and the bracelet she dropped.
I opened my mouth to talk, but was cut off with the sound of police sirens.
I looked up quickly, then smirked.
"Thanks sweetie." I said winking, before sliding my knife into my pocket.
Popping my knuckles, I jumped up and attaching myself to the fire escape.
And just like that, I was gone, without a trace.
