THE MOON'S LOVESTORY

THE FIRST CONVERSATION

                       The Moon(male word in marathi is chandra) said to the star (female word chandani in Marathi) , "Will you give me company tonight, i am so lonely.....i asked others but they dont be awake like me in night rather love to sleep. But god made me to work in night. Alone....will you share your night with me???" 
                      Chandani (the star ) said, "why not?:-) my pleasure....." And they had gossips whole night....became good friends of eachother....
                      And the Moon asked her,"Can i have a promise from you?;-)"
She asked smilingly and knowing what he wants," what kind of promise??";-)
  Moon said, "A promise to share your each night with me.....;-)" 
                      Chandani got blush, smiled
And reply was ofcourse " k....i promise.."
                      On the next night....Chandani came,but naughty Moon,he hiden himself behind the clouds. Chandani keep searching,thinking he is doing it to test her. But she stayed there,waiting.....for her promise which she made last night.
She waited whole night,stayed alone....
Same happened on next three nights but she believed him and her heart bring
her there next three nights....
                           Fourth night came.....She decided tonight she will surely search hard and will get him(the Moon). And she searched lot,everywhere...and finaly she went behind the clouds....and guess what,she got her mate....and her happiness was boundless,she watched him closely and hugged him. But the Moon was calm.
                           The Moon said,"God gave me a work. To give light on earth in night time. But...." He couldn't say ahead easily. But he had to say and he said," I have to do my duty. And...and if i stayed with you,i can't do it well....."
                             Shocking for Chandani,her eyes flooded,her lips get pressed and her legs walked backward....
                              But she said, " Yeah, i know,i understand...and i will not disturb you." She pretended to  understand and smile...but Moon knew the truth. She added,"Best luck for your duty,and i am proud that i got friend like you who is so conscious about his duty...Goodbye:-)."
                              Chandani pretended to went away. Moon came out of clouds and started doing his work. He too wanted to be with her  but he had to obey God. And also he didnt want to lose his own light. But what about the Chandani?? The star which had fallen in his love????
                            She decided,to watch moon by hiding in clouds. She debated with clouds so that his light will spread everywhere. She requested God and Sun to allow her to watch him and to allow him to do that work always which he like more than her.  
                            And God added fortnightly changes in Moon's work but still Chandani keep watching him and he keep spreading his light.
