Mission: failed

Chapter 1

That damned blaring noise. Lance never wanted to hear it again. The klaxon alarms were officially his worst enemy. "Quiznack! How many times is this going to happen. That's like the third time this quintent! Wait Quintents are days...what's a week in Altean? Ugh...." he ranted to himself as he stumbled out of bed. He barely registered where he was going as he was so groggy. Lance screeched as he was tackled to the floor by a large fluffy creature by the name of Kosmo. Kosmo is Keith's space wolf. Lance whined and wriggled as Kosmo held him down with his paws licking him. "Okay , okay , love you to Kosmo but I don't think space wolf saliva is good for my skin." He laughed pushing him off his body gently. He got up and changed into his armour as fast as he could Before racing down to the hangar and getting into his lion. They all flew out of the hangar as Allura commanded instructions to them. They dodged and weaved past lasers as the galra opened fire on them. It was a simple mission really , destroy a small fleet of galra ships attacking a village. But even the simplest missions can go wrong.... Lance noticed in his peripheral vision a blur of lilac in the streets of planet they were protecting. Galra soldiers and a few dozen sentries. "GUyS! This is just a distraction! The galra are in the village! I'm going to save the towns people!" He yelled before anyone could stop him. The planet was made of small island villages surrounded by water. He made a landing pad for blue using the freeze canon. Landing on the ice he half walked and half ice skated to the streets shooting down sentries and galra. He started evacuating the towns people who gathered in blue. He didn't see a large , bulky galra covered in scars and a knarkled , grotesque smirk twisted his features in a picture of malicious intent come up behind him until it was too late....the galra bludgeoned his head with the back of his sword. Lances vision went black as he was knocked unconscious. The galra hauled Lance over his shoulder as lances helmet that had been shattered fell off and his bayard fell from his limp hand. The others were trying to contact lance over the coms. "Lance!!" Silence... "Lance can you hear us?" Heavy breathing. "Lance come in! LANCE!" "Buddy?" Hunk whispered meekly. "Why wasn't lance answering..." The galra soldier laughed as he heard the pathetic yells from the paladins. "Your friend is out of commission..." Shiro gasped and flew down to the blue lion. He picked the blue lion up with blacks claws , the villagers inside. They saw the galra dragging an unconscious lance to their ship as they flew off. Hunk and Keith were yelling  but shiro told them they couldn't go after lance now. They had to form a plan and rebuild the planets villages...
