Today is the end of first semester. I'm really excited, but the things is I don't have anywhere to go. My parents are going away for break, along with my little sister. So basically what I'm saying is I have to stay on campus, by myself. My roommate would be home by shes going to her boyfriends.
"Hey, Alex? You good?" I looked up and Sarah is standing over me. I looked around her and everyone one was gone. "You don't look good, come on" she took me to walk outside and just hanged. "ALEX?" "Bruh, what do you want? I'm just spacing out damn" I said. She laughed because she couldn't take me serious when I'm mad. She always tells me I look like a anime girl crying out 'baka'. I just laughed along, cause it never gets old. "Hey you wanna go to that bar on baker street?" she asked. I just shrugged, "Alex, he might be there" " Nah, he's never out." I sighed "Um... Yeah, but tonight he will!" she shrieked. I couldn't help but smile. "How do you know?" "I got people. You know me, I'll always have your back"
We go back to her place and get dressed. We actually ended up leaving early so when we got there was barely a soul. We are probably here cause of her boyfriend. Her boyfriend just got the job there so when we were there he was just cleaning the place and getting it ready for tonight. Today was Friday the 13th so people come by to get freaky. While Sarah and her boyfriend where drooling over each other I sat in the corner just wasting time with the salt shakers and putting new salt in them, (cause Ryan (Sarah's boyfriend) doesn't know how to do there job) It was really weird cause when I looked up it was already 12:00.
"Ryan, baby do you know when you know who is coming in?" Sarah whispered over the counter. "Who Leo? He usually comes in now" "Ooh, Alex speak of the devil there he is" said said while tapping my arm. I turned and there he was. He was so handsome, like I can't even comprehend how someone could look the way he does. He looked like he could be a model, with his dark curlish hair, eyes the color of jade, skin was pale and he honestly looks like he hasn't slept in days. But, that makes him different you, I guess. But what was the best feature on him was his smile, that smile turns my days upside down.
I spoke to him once during the whole semester. What did we say, your probably wondering. And I'm gonna be real honest he asked me for a pencil. That's all. I mean technically I didn't say anything to him. But the whole time I was having conversations with him in my head.
"Go talk to him!" Sarah said I gave her a bitch look. "No, what the fuck. I'd rather watch from afar" "You creep. Just go talk to him, he's super charming. Like no homo but if I was a girl, I would definitely tried to sleep with him. I mean no homo shit." Alex laughed. I mean he laughed for a good minute too. Sarah laughed along but ignored him after a while. "Look he's looking at you."
"No hes not"
"On god bro. Like hes coming this way" I turned around and he was coming our way. She wasn't playing
"Hey can I get one beer, and for the ladies?" Sarah laughed " She and I will have two shot" I definitely don't drink but she knows what she's doing. "So how are you Leo?" Ryan asked "I haven't seen you in a while" Leo gave a little scoff, "I've been good. I've actually busy at home had some cleaning to do, and buy food and you know, getting to know my apartment"
"That's pretty cool, you know if you ever need anyone to share rent I know a few budies" Ryan gave the drinks and push Leos money away."Thanks, and no thank you, I'm pretty stable with my money and I just like living alone." He looked at me and smiled, "I remember you. you gave me that weird lead pencil, the one that looked at a syringe needle" I shyly looked away "Yeah that was me"
