I was eight when I first saw you
Those eyes showed the soul in you
You smiled at me, I raised a brow
Brushing off the feelings that grew

We talked and definitely became friends
I found out that our attitudes blends
We silently sat side by side, contended
Until the moon and the stars united

During the day, we built memories together
And at night time we dreamed of forever
The summer witnessed every heartbeat
But the winter testified the heartbreak

One day you started avoiding me
You can't even straightly look at me
You build high barriers between us
And my heart slowly broke like a glass

They told me you were afraid
Of where this infantuation will lead
I was actually feeling the same
But I know that the reason was lame

I asked you to give it a try
But instead you left without saying goodbye.
Who could have thought it will end that way?
Well, maybe you and I were really not meant to be.

I'm turning twenty a month from now
But our memories still lingers somehow
I want to thank you for those happy days
And in my heart you will forever have a place.
