(Kind is like last time, thank you so much for 100 reads! I was just wrtiting this to get the idea off of my mind, but knowing others enjoy it as well makes me feel good! Hope you enjoy part 9!)

Huey's POV

Should I have gone with Webby to find Louie? Who knows what scheme they are getting into! Yea, I have to find them! I'm the most responsible brother still! Right?

Yea, I am. Louie being responsible? As if, he can barely do one day of hard work! Dewey being responsible is like... me jumping off a bridge with no concerns for my safety. Polar opposite of Dewey is being responsible. Maybe he'll get better someday.

I dashed out the front door, taking off down towards Duckburg. Louie could be in danger if Webby hasn't found him by now! I have to find him. But it's like finding Dewey, how would I find Louie in Duckburg! With now only two eyes looking around, it's statistically nearly impossible! But I have to try!

I could just rely on my sense of sight, but I can definitely use hearing to help me as well. Webby isn't known for being too quiet, so if I find her voice, I could find her! Possibly Louie if she has already found him. So, I put my foolproof plan into action. I walk through Duckburg, looking and hearing around.

I must have only been walking for about 5 minutes when I heard a voice I know very well.

"Hi I'm Webby!" The voice said out. I knew it was Webby, not just because she said so, her voice was kind of unmistakable. It sometimes haunts my dreams... besides that I found Webby! I race around the corner to find her holding her hand out to... another kid?

The kid looks shocked, and then hesitates before finally talking.

"I'm um... Phooey?" The mysterious child says. I glance at Webby and Louie. I don't think this child was dangerous, but something about him made me feel... connected? Like I knew him already? Maybe I saw him at school... yea that's it!

Louie and Webby exchange a few more words before running off, leaving Phooey alone. He glanced around again, and then just looked straight down and started walking away. Odd. What would a boy his age be doing out here without supervision. Seems kind of dangerous.

I know I just found Webby and Louie, but I'm quite intrigued by this mystery child. So, I do the only logical thing: I follow Phooey and let Louie and Webby off on their wild goose chase. I follow from a distance, making sure if he was to ever glance behind him, he wouldn't be able to see me. Who knows what this kid would if he saw me following him? I didn't know anything about him! Wait, is this even safe?

I'll just channel my inner Dewey and ignore the signs of danger. Maybe Dewey was slowly rubbing off on me, or my curiosity was just taking over. Whatever it was, I was going to find out who this kid was. Is he really Phooey, as he says? Or is this some sort of big mystery! Ohh, I live for mystery and historical accuracy! Let's do this!

Louie's POV

"Webby you are nuts! Why would you jump on me in front of that kid! You scared him so much!" I glare at Webby, who was just grinning ear to ear, unaware of the scare she gave Phooey and me.

"I found you though! It took so long! Huey told me you went out here, so I wanted to join in on this mystery!" Webby looked like she was going to explode from excitement. If she gets any more excited she could get a... oh what does Dewey call it... a joy overload! And that means carrying her around since she can barely move. I refuse to do that!

"Fine Webbigail, but cool it. If your screaming about this, the whole town will know, including Scrooge's enemies. You know they will all want a bite of Dewey!" If they haven't already gotten to him. Shut up thoughts! Webby seemed to know my face get a little paler, and put her hand on my shoulder.

"He is safe Louie, and we will find him. Or he will come back to us once he gets over whatever he is dealing with. Why did he overreact anyways?" Webby's eyes seemed sincere and confused at the same time.

I opened my beak to say something, but I couldn't say anything. I didn't know why Dewey ran off like that.

"We know he didn't like he was forgotten again, but that's about it. I mean, I've been forgotten so much, but I don't do this. We can solve that mystery later, but let's focus on the mystery we have in front of us right now: finding Dewey." Webby smiles as I say this.

"Ok, but now there is only two of us. How are we going to find Dewey in this town alone?" I was the one grinning now, with Webby looking at me confused.

"Oh dear Webbigail, I've already figured that out," I pulled out Little Bulb, "we have Little Bulb help us. He is an incredibly smart robot. With an extra pair of super-smart robot eyes helping us, we can find Dewey even faster!" I glanced up at Webby, who had a doubtful look on her face.

"What if Little Bulb turns evil like last time you had him?" I sighed, she really thought I hadn't already thought of that?

"I know how, but I can't say it here. Just, I'll talk to Little Bulb, and you look for Dewey, ok?" Webby nodded, and we carried on walking, not knowing who was in the shadows watching us.

Magica's POV

So the blue triplet has run away, has he? That just makes everything so much easier! I've watched each and every one of those children, I know what they are like. So if I find Dewey, and control him, then I can get into the mansion easy-peasy. I can finally get my revenge on all those children.

So if those children find Dewey, then I'll find Dewey as well. Might as well have them do all the hard work! It's been too long, 4 years since my last revenge plot, this one will be better.

And that child doesn't know what's coming for him.

(Thanks for reading my longest part yet! Hoping to write at least 5 times a week!)
