Its Christmas Eve
Today was Christmas Eve, the foster dads are both religious but wouldn't push there religions on us. It feels nice to have people not want us to be this and that.
I walk downstairs to see no one downstairs and our house covered in Christmas decorations, I never really got to do this with other families, usually they wouldn't put decorations or they didn't celebrate Christmas.
But I see no one, so I start getting the plates out for breakfast, then I start thinking about things that we would usually eat for breakfast, I've learn to cook things and I am doing more because it feels like a family here instead of a false place of hope. I get out seven cartons of eggs because that usually what we have a bunch of other people here.
I get crack about 20 eggs then Dallon comes downstairs and says "Thanks kiddo for this but I can finish this for you."
I say "No, I'll finish the eggs then I'll help you with the rest."
He says "And you thought you would leave here very quickly?"
I say "True." I laugh and finish the eggs then I plate them, Dallon says "Di-"
I say "Did you make more eggs because of every one will be here. And yes I did."
Dallon says "Thank you." I nod go to plating everything and I help Dallon make bacon.
Dallon says "What else should we make?"
We say in unison "Pancakes." We get all the ingredients and I say "We should make half chocolate chip and the other half normal"
Dallon says "So we need to make 3 for everyone."
I say "Okay, how many people are there."
Dallon says "39 people. Which means.."
I say "117 pancakes."
Dallon says "So which means about 58 pancakes for chocolate and the same of regular."
I say "We better get started." We start mixing and make about 13 - 14 pancakes for each batch, we talk about things and it was nice since everyone was elsewhere.
I say "We're done."
Dallon says "Now we must plate all of them."
I say "What else should we make, its only.."
Leo says "9:16 am."
I say "Jesus, God and Hell, Leo."
Dallon says "We should just plate them and then we're done."
We finish plating and everyone comes downstairs 5 minutes later and all the guest get here at the same time so it was crazy.
They all sit and I say "Can I get a thank you?"
Dallon says "Yea, we slaved a stove for 3 hours for y'all and all you could do was sit down and say nothing to us."
Tyler says "Welcome to my world, none of the kids every say thank you and I want a little appreciate."
Dallon says "Sorry."
I say "Sorry."
Everyone says "Thank you."
We all dig in and have the biggest breakfast ever.
Then we finish and we go and do our own things.
I get a call from Kinsley and I answer, she says "I wanted to wish you a merry Christmas."
I say "Thank you, and Merry Christmas, I love you."
She says "I love you too, I can't wait to see you again."
I say "Same, I just want to hug you and kiss you, I want to talk to about everything. I wish I could cuddle with you."
She says "I told want to show you everything, that you missed."
I say "I have to go, but I love you."
She says "I love you, bye."
Then I hung up.
Dallon says "Who was that?"
I say "Kinsley."
Dallon says "How long have you guys been together?"
I say "Since Halloween, so almost 2 months."
Dallon says "I bet ya its gonna be over before then."
I say "I think I'm going to marry her."
Dallon says "When I met Tyler, he was an 18 year old. I slept when I was drunk one night then we stayed friends and slowly fell in love."
I say "Well, that's pretty cool. What does this have to do with anything?"
Dallon says "I wanted to change the subject, you are 11 years old, you shouldn't be talking about marriage yet."
I say "Well, true but I really love her."
Dallon says "Here's the deal if your still together by October of next year, then I'll give you a hundred dollars to spend on her."
I say "Deal."
Dallon says "Okay."
I say "Can I get like 20 bucks to buy her a necklace."
Dallon says "No."
I say "I need to, I want to show how much she means to me."
