I woke up to the sound of the fire alarm going off.

What the fuck has Eros gotten himself into now? I quickly went downstairs to see Eros throwing water onto a grease fire. I sighed walking into the kitchen turning the heat off and covering the fire with flour. It went out and I gave him a look.

"I'm sorry. I'll clean it up. I just wanted to make breakfast for you and it obviously backfired." I sighed putting the dishes into the sink. I looked at the burnt pancakes and threw them in the trash.

"How about we go out for breakfast?" He nodded looking suddenly excited and he rushed me off to go get dressed.

LSD, PCP, WEED, COCAINE? What the hell was this man on?

I went upstairs and changed my clothes to be more appropriate for breakfast before heading back downstairs. Eros was dressed and waiting for me. The dishes were gone and the kitchen was cleaned.

"Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded.

We were in the middle of the ride when Eros asked

"Why haven't you tried to escape?"

"I don't see a need to, my parents we're junkies. Your dad gave me a better life than my real family could've." I said looking out the window.

"Wow. So what were you like before my dad took you?" He asked. Why do you want to know?

"Naive, I was starting to get into some trouble with people I shouldn't have been around so it was almost like perfect timing. Your dad showed me how to get back on track."

"But what he did was wrong."

"Correct. But I'm not the one to hold a grudge so I don't care anymore." I said.

"That's good to know." He said. "You know I want to apologize for how I've been treating you for the last several months. I know I've been nothing but an asshole to you and I hope you will take the time to get to know me because I'm not as bad of a person I show."

"I'll think about it Eros. But you really caused some damage." In my heart I had forgiven him already but mentally I had to stay strong. Don't break too easily

I sat in front of him and looked through the menu deciding that I was going to get French toast. A woman came up and I gagged mentally.

"Hi, how can I help you guys today?" She asked in a deep sultry voice. I looked up at Eros and he was as easily disturbed as I was.

"C-Can I get some French toast for the lady, and I'll take the same."

"With bacon or sausage." Is this hoe serious?

"Bacon please. And we'll take apple juice." He said closing the menus she put her whole upper body on the table to grab the menu from him and she just snatched mine from out my hand. I couldn't do anything but laugh.

"What's funny?" He asked.

"Bacon or sausage?"

"She doesn't look real." He said with a scrunched up face.

"How do you know I wanted French toast?" I asked.

"I've noticed you like French toast."

"So you've been watching me?"

"I've been observing you ever since my father took you."

"Take is a strong word maybe like, Obtained?"

"Whatever. Just know I know your habits."

"Mhm. Sure you do." I said trying to focus on anything but his smug face. When I connected eyes with him his grin grew. "Stop looking at me like that." I said feigning anger.

"You're my wife I can do whatever I want. Talking about wife I think you're missing something." He said pulling a ring out of his pocket. I rolled my eyes. I opened my hand to take the ring but he flipped it over and put it on my ring finger. "Don't take it off again." He said sternly.

"Or else?" I asked. He got quiet and I looked at him. He was sending me a glare. "I'm kidding I won't. Jeez." I said trying to pull my hand from his. He tightened his grip and observed my hand.

"You're mine, I am yours, I promise to be nothing but faithful." He said. Drugs? Alcohol? Did he hit his head? "I know you're probably wondering what I'm on right now but I'm being completely honest and myself." I felt awkward at this moment how do I interpret these feelings was he being legitimate?
