When I first came here, I was by myself for a while,

But then I met you, and you made me smile

It had been a long time, that I was alone

But when I was with you, I felt I had a home

Year after year no matter the weather

We became best friends, we grew closer together

By your side is where I always stayed

But it would make me sad when you strayed

How there was no way I could go without
