Thomas Before Sodor

Thomas and Neil sneak on Sodor.

Soon Thomas and Neil snuck on sodor and looked around to see if anyone was around "Do you see anyone Thomas?" Asked Neil "No I don't." replied Thomas. It was late at night, so Thomas and Neil went to go find a shed to sleep in. They managed to find one in Vicarstown. The next morning, Thomas and Neil woke up and they saw Sir Topham Hatt. "And who I may ask are you two?" "My name is Thomas, and this is Neil. Sorry for showing up uninvited sir." Sir Topham Hatt looked at them and saw that they were eager to be on the railway of Sodor and wanted to be really useful engines. "I can see that you two are eager to work here. So go down to knapford and meet a blue mixed traffic engine named Edward, he'll show you how things work while I do some work, I'll see you two later." They replied "Thank you sir, Bye sir."

They made their way to Knapford while Sir Topham Hatt was working to buy Thomas and Neil from their respective owners. Edward heard engines talking to James. "Hello can you tell us where Knapford is?" Thomas asked. "This IS Knapford, Where are you two from?" James asked "The Mainland but where I'm from,  I'm not quite sure." Neil answered "And I'm from Brighton." Thomas answered. And then Edward rolled up and saw that Neil was a square engine with 4 small wheels and no cab, while Thomas had 6 small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler, and a short stumpy dome. Edward told them "I'm shocked to see engines not as big as me." Then Sir Topham Hatt arrived. "Ah, Thomas and Neil, good to see you two again, I'm pleased to inform you that you are now apart of my railway, which is a very busy one, and I'm a very busy man. You two must learn how things work here to be really useful." He said to them. "Yes, Sir." They replied. James asked "Um sir? When did you meet them?" "This morning at the vicarstown sheds, James. They arrived here last night." Now I must get back to work, as should you, bye everyone, make sure to be really useful." He then tripped on a pipe. "Uh really useful, *to his guards* this way lads" He then leaves and the engines started laughing.
