The sky is full of colour,
as the sun goes down I think of you,
you make me sneeze a big fat a-choooo.
when I rub my eyes they water,
when I play with you it makes me happy,
oh I will miss you my dog jacky.
As the sun goes down the birds cheep and the crickets creek,
I hold you in my arms to say one last goodbye,
My eyes water but a different water,
a sad water that's makes you cry,
that doesn't matter,
things will get better.
I hold you tight until you go,
it's all done the needle is out you can go.
the sun is down,
everything is black,
I sit alone with you on my lap.
I cry for a while and look up at the stars,
until I see a shooting star gleam across the sky,
with happiness I pray to you and say"hey jacky, how are you?"
I'm happy now that at last your at peace,
And all of your pain has been released,
For 13 years you were my friend.
As the sun goes down I think of you,
you are with me when the stars come out and when the sky is blue.
When you were 2, I was 1,
you were wise and I was young,
we wrestled each other all the time,
and when things got bad I would cry.
You've been stepped on over 1000 times,
but still you survived,
that's all that matters,
you've had a pretty good life unlike others.
I will miss you jacky,
but when the sun goes down you will remember that everyone loves you for ever and ever.
