Our Reason

Tets POV
The great war has finally come to an end and I have now become the one true god. All the blood shed has ended and now life is determined by games the ten pledges. This all became possible due to the wits  of a human and  an ex-machina, Riku and Shuvi Dola and the unexpected love they shared.

"As the one true God of disboard I will give them a second chance to live the life they truly deserved"

Riku POV
I  slowly opened my eyes and.. for the first time in my life I wasn't surrounded by darkness and Ash I was surrounded by warmth and light. I slowly got up realising I had all my limbs again with no burns on my body. I.. was alive.

" Where am I"

I then realised where I was. This was where I first met shuvi.

"shuvi?..SHUVI"

If I had been given a second chance then surely she was alive too.

I ran around desperately hoping to find her alive once again then I noticed a metallic purple shine from the corner of my eye.

" Hello Riku"

I ran as fast as I could and crushed shuvi in a loving embrace. It was my shuvi she had come back to me.

" Your alive.. I can't believe it"

Shuvi's POV

Riku had embraced me and I could feel his tears on my face along with my own.

" I'm back riku but your all healed what happened?"

Riku let go and faced me with an unsure expression.

"I can answer that"

We both turned to see someone smiling at us with holding our chess board.

" Due to your smarts and determination you have ended the war among raises an denuded the blood shed along with it"

He points to himself proudly

"So I, the one true god has given you your life back".

We were both shocked but smirked

Both POV
"Next time we meet Let's play a game"

"ha ha yes let's until then"

He disappeared leaving us in the cave alone. We stood up taking each others hand and walked out into the light for the first time.

"This was our reason for living".
