Nickolai pov

I woke with Anastasia next to me. Nickolai it's time, my father informed me through pack link. As alpha its my job to welcome the new pack members. I got dressed quietly trying not to wake Anastasia my recent hook up.

We've been hooking up for about year, she think shes alpha female to me she's just another substitute until i find my mate.

As i walked down stairs i thought of our newest member Liziana, my newest conquest. I saw a flash of red and the she turned towards me.

MATE ! The force of my wolfs declaration almost brought me to my knees. Our eyes connected and i saw her's widen.

"Mate."

She whispered and the smile that broke out on her face was incerdible. Enhancing her beauty 10x more.

As quickly as it came it was gone and left in its place was a blank expression.

Confused, I started to introduce myself.

When i felt Anastasia come to stand next to me, her breast pressed against my arm.

I looked down to see her dressed in only my shirt and panties. I felt my wolf get angry.

Our mate should be the only one dressed in our clothes.

Speaking of mates i turned to look at mine. She

still had that carefully blank expression on her face.

I would kill to know what she is thinking right now.

"Niky." Anastasia said to me "I woke up and you weren't there."

She pulled a face that was suppose to be pouty instead she looked like she sucked on a lemon.

She turned to introduce herself before i could stop her. " Hi my names Anastasia, Niky's girlfriend future Alpha Female.

She looked pointedly towards Liziana when she said that.

The only response my mate gave her was a raised eye brow. I turned to look at Anastasia in disgust, I don't know how i put up with her for so long.

I noticed my skin started to crawl from she was touching me.

She is not our mate she does not have reason to be touching us.

 My wolf growled at me. When my mate finally decided to speak what she said next was not what i was expecting.
