WAKING UP TO SEE YOU

The sun rays falling in through the curtains,
Falling on us, but focusing on you,
It woke me up, but I'm enjoying the view.

Sharing the bed, sharing the pillow,
You're lying facing me, with eyes closed,
I'm wide awake tracing you.

Inches apart you are,
I can feel your long and even breaths,
Reaching me and tickling my face.

Your eyes are closed,
Closed is my door to your soul,
Those deep blue orbs.

Forehead, free of any crease,
You are relaxed in the that deep sleep,
I can feel you at peace.

The soft silky hair,
Tousled on your head,
Falling unevenly, giving you bangs.

The fine line of lips,
Makes the small pout,
Can I resist them? I doubt.

The hand resting on my waist,
I can feel the little weight,
Fingers moving time to time,
Not ending my plight.

Busy looking at you,
How peaceful you look,
Couldn't deny the fact, that I love you.

Not good with taking the stares,
You open your eyes,
You again caught me,
Lost in your sight.

The forehead having lines,
The eyebrows now joined,
The nose is scrunched,
Ready to whine.

A minute passed by,
And you figured out my crime,
Staring back into my eyes,
You caught me again this time.

The lines in the face relaxed,
The pout became the smile,
After all that's what I daily wile.

The hand now on my cheek,
Your nose touching mine,
Breath fanning my face,
And your lips touching mine.

"GOOD MORNING"
