Tomorrow I will go may for the first time to the rehearsal of the band project "Tempelprayers". I'm really excited about what expects me at this band rehearsal. Do they even need me? After all, they already have a guitarist, I just don't know who, Till didn't want to tell me. I hope that Till will have a good word for me, because after I leaved FeelingB and the band finally disbanded, it annoys me a little bit that I don't have a band and also can't find any to make the music, which I also like.

Now I'm standing here, in front of the house where the rehearsals take place. Schönhauser 5 – actually Aljoscha's house, what a coincidence. The rehearsal room is supposed to be in the basement, so I go to the house.
Voices are already coming out of the rehearsal room, but I can't assign them, but they are not loud enough. Should I just go into the room or knock? But this is quickly taken away from me, because the door opens and Till is in the door frame.
"You're exact as always," Till grins, letting me in.
I look at the four-piece band once and I'm very surprised.
"So Paul, this is Olli, I don't think you know him yet. He plays bass. Schneider and Richard you already know."
"Richard?" I look at Till in disbelief.
"Oh, you don't know. Scholle has changed his name."
"Okay? Now I understand."
"Beautiful, can we start now?" Richard asks, slightly annoyed, reaching for his guitar.

It's new to me that Till is the singer. I've heard him sing a few times, but as a singer I couldn't really imagine him.
At first the boys are playing to me what they have so far. I pay particular attention to Richard, how he plays, so that I can remember that directly and then also play. But I feel right there is something missing. They clearly need a keyboard player.
"I like the style of music. What I'm missing only is a keyboard player," I address it directly.
"You can apply for it," Richard snipps, before lighting a cigarette.
I am irritate, what is his problem?
"And you're also a guitarist?" asks Olli.
He looks back and forth between Richard and me and then nods. He probably wanted to say that they already have a guitarist.
"I suggest you try to play a riff and we'll see," Till says, which I immediately agree with.
I hang up my guitar and tune it, play a few notes and try to play the riff. I can play the most, but there are a few small mistakes in it.
"It was good," Olli comments immediately after my play, smiling.
"We should listen to this when we all play," Scholle suggests, looking critically at me.
That's how it's implemented, we all play the track, you can hear my little mistakes, but I don't let myself get out. In my opinion, I mastered myself quite well, for playing the song just for the second time.

At the end of the short rehearsal, Till tells me to wait outside, go around the block or something, the guys want to consult if I can continue to play in this band.
So I leave the room, think about what I could do now. Till said I should come back in an hour so they can have a proper discussion about it.
