3rd POV

It was just another day for Craton. He was poor, so of course he had a department store job. It didn't bring in much, but it was something. He dreaded today, as any other day, but today is Friday the 13th of September. He hated it because he believed in superstition and he just knows he's going to have bad luck. Well, every day is bad luck for him, but today will be the worst. He wishes he was rich enough to call in sick, but he can't afford it, so he begrudgingly gets ready for work.

Craton's POV

When I got to work, I started scanning things and such as any other worker at a department store would do. After a while, people started coming in and buying things. One funny incident did happen. A man, in his young 20s, I suspect, came over with a package of adult diapers. I didn't show any sign of weirdness or awkwardness, I just did my job, which made the blushing man relax a little bit. I smiled on the inside, I bet he would look so cute in them—what the hell? I cut my thoughts short. Those might be for his grandparents or elderly people he knows, that should be my first thought! After he left, everything was boring again though.

A little bit into the afternoon, people started slowing down, probably eating at the indoor buffets. I decided to grab a little something to eat as well, so I let one of my co-workers know before leaving my station. I looked at the map and decided to eat at that fast-food Chinese place. Hah, I'm really bad at names, oops. Once the food is ready, I grab my order and sit down to eat. Oh! It was called Panda Express! I clapped my hands by accident because I was so excited.

After a while, I look around wondering what people are thinking or doing at this moment. The loud chatter gives me an idea, but it also gives me a slight headache. After a bit, I decide to save some of my food for later and get back to my shift. When I get there, I see these troublesome kids trying to steal some bubblegum and candy from the checkout area. I quickly ask them what they're doing. "Hey, what are you doing?" They scramble a bit and look shocked. One of them recovers and hits me in the face, out of shock, I stumble back a bit. I recover quickly and go to grab them, but they are running off before I can do anything. Fuck. Kids are so troublesome. Reminder, never have kids. Ugh.

Once I check that only a few front-of-the-counter items are missing, I decide it's not a big deal and get back to work. No one hardly buys those things anyway.

After a bit, I see four guys walk into the store. A few minutes pass and I see another four guys and then four more guys after a few more minutes. This goes on a bit until I don't see four guys walking in anymore. I get a bit nervous, knowing that these guys could be doing something dangerous. Did I mention? They had masks! After some minutes, the leader, I suspect, comes in. He surveys his surroundings. I'm trying to stay quiet so they don't pay attention to me but I drop something, so I bend down to grab it. I straighten up again and tense immediately because I accidentally look right at the leader, and he is actually staring at me! I look down instantly.

Suddenly, I see the leader come towards me out of the corner of my eye, and I freeze. He smiles gently and comes closer. I'm too paranoid that he is dangerous to try to act normal and treat him like a customer, instead, I freak out by scooting back a bit and say, "I didn't do anything!" He frowns a bit and I cover my head with my arms slightly. "Hey, it's okay. No need to panic." He says gently, trying to soothe me. I just try to not think about it, but it's impossible. I'm so scared! Suddenly, we both hear trickling, we both look down and see I'm wetting my pants out of fear. My eyes start welling up with tears. "Hey, hey it's okay. Everyone has accidents," he says gently, bringing me into his arms. I can't think clearly at all so much that I can't even struggle or fight against him, I just cry silently, feeling so stressed and scared.

I keep my head down while crying, but I hear some of his men come over and talk about something to do with a list?

Rudy's POV

Poor little guy, he had wet his pants out of fear, but I know just the thing to help this. I call one of my men over. "Hey, can you go and see if they have any adult diapers, onesies, shirts, pants, and maybe a pacifier? Don't worry about most of that, focus on the diapers and getting a new pair of pants." He nods and scurries off for the desired items. I look back down at the little cutie in my arms.

He looks confused and scared. I rub his back soothingly. "It'll be okay, little guy," I say quietly.

After some minutes, Colven comes back with a bag of adult diapers and a new pair of pants. "They didn't have the other items in adult sizes, but I'm sure we can find some elsewhere." I nod. "Thank you, Colven, I appreciate it." He blushes a bit and nods before going off on his original mission: restocking what we came here for.

Salter comes over, "Dad, there's a bit of trouble. Someone has called the police and they're only a few minutes away, we need to leave. Now," he says urgently. Fuck, I forgot roll call. We usually inform the people so they don't think we're dangerous, just stealing item–

I look down at the boy in my arms again and see him sucking on the end of my shirt, I would coo if I wasn't thinking of a plan to get out. "Salt, can you gather everyone and tell them to go to the exit in the far back? Our car should still be out there and I'll meet you guys." He nods and leaves.

I grab the bag of adult diapers and pick him up. As I make my way over to the exit, I signal to any of my men who are not informed yet about the news.

When I get out of there, I immediately go to the backseat of the vehicle, put the diapers at my feet, and put the baby boy on my lap. While I wait for the others, I grab armor I keep in the back and start dressing my little baby in it, as well as myself. It may be uncomfortable, but it is for safety cautions. Plus, I hear the sirens much closer now. I put my buckle over my baby boy and hear a click. A car seat would do better for him, but this is pretty good.

The guys start piling into the vehicle at once and the driver asks where to, I say our mansion and we immediately start driving away. "HEY YOU, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! THIS IS THE POLICE, IF YOU DON'T STOP, WE WILL BE FORCED TO STOP YOU." We keep going, and as I feared, they start shooting, and worse yet, they are catching up.

I hear shattering and feel something hit my back, a bullet. Luckily this bulletproof armor helps with that. And with my baby boy covered in it, he will be safe as can be. We speed up and soon we make it out of reach and get to our mansion safely.

We all get out, me being the last as I have the baby. The others grab everything while I pick up the diapers and make my way inside. My baby boy will be pampered properly, he'll see, and hopefully, he'll come to love me as much I am starting to...love him.
