Jorge's POV
'BUZZ BUZZ'
I heard as I opened my eyes to the bright light peeking in from my curtains. I rolled over searching frantically for my phone. Oh, here it is, I thought to myself as I threw my pillow to the end of my bed. I unlocked it, I noticed I had a new message and a missed facetime call. I clicked the notification.
- Benji: Goodmorning Baby😘
I immediately closed out of messages, then clicked facetime. As I waited for him to answer i got up and headed to my bathroom.
"Goodmorning Baby" Benji answered with a soft tone. I loved hearing his voice first thing in the morning. "Goodmorning love, How long do you have to talk before you have to go?" I asked as I turned on the water to my shower.
"I have class in 15 mins, i also have a lecture today so i wont be able to call for a few hours," he said, I could hear the sadness in his voice. "its okay, Benji I have things to do today anyway"
"I just miss you so much, All I want to do is lay and bed and cuddle while we watch netflix"
"I know me to Benji, but it'll be okay, we will soon, i promise"
Little did he know i was planning on flying to Amsterdam today. I started planning this when i left him a week ago at the train station in Barcelona.
We talked about random things for a few mins until the call went silent for a few seconds. I knew what was coming. "well im here. im gonna be late if i dont go now" i could hear him start to tear up. "Its okay benji, you need to go before your late on the third day of school" I hear him giggle, which made me happy knowing he had a smile on that adorable face of his.
"ill call you when i get out of class, I love you Jeyjey"
"I live you Benjamin" I heard him open the door through the phone as he hung up.
Next time I talk to him ill be with him. I smiled at the thought of just being with him.
I quickly jumped in the shower. When I got out I looked at the time '8:33 a.m.' Crap, why can I never go anywhere on time. I had a little over 2 hours before my flight left. I quickly scrambled to my closet to get dressed. I realized I had packed the majority of my clothes. I searched through my luggage and found the most comfortable thing that was on top. I put on one of Benji's hoodies that i stole, some black athletic shorts and zipped up my bag.
"Mom, I'm ready to head to the airport" I yelled out my door and down the hallway to the living room. "Okay" she yelled back.
"Do you have everything? Money? Passport? Plane ticket?"
"Yes mom, everything is ready to go" She was acting like it was the first time I had ever traveled alone. "just making sure". I loved my mother but sometimes she worried for no reason.
I double checked everything she asked about because honestly she made me a little nervous that i had forgotten something.
Everythings here.
Now just to make it to the airport in time. Benji i'll see you soon.
