"I've got this," I whispered into the silence.
Sure, it was hard being a leader. It was desperately difficult to juggle my own training as well as the training of all my pack members. Because they were mine now. They weren't Mom's because Mom had given him the pack now, It's my turn, and I'm now responsible for everything.
The whole pack waiting with bated breath to see what kind of leader I was going to be. If I was capable of doing as great a job as my parents. So many legacies to continue, so many expectations to meet, so many people relying on my ability to lead. But it's going to be fine. I have it under control.
