Chapter 14
I went to bed thinking about Harry’s warm lips against my cheek and I couldn’t help but wonder how they would feel against my lips.
“Lucy sweetie wake up” I heard a familiar voice say gently shaking me awake. I groaned as I felt cold air hitting the side of my leg were Alice am sure pulled my cover off me. “Wake up Lu were gonna be late!” she said now throwing clothes to me. “I’m up, I’m up” I said rolling out of bed rubbing my eyes and letting a big yawn out. “Get dress and meet us downstairs,” she ordered me tossing a shirt at me as she walked out of the room.
I rushed to get dressed putting on what Alice had thrown at me which was a white tank top, a multi-coloured cardigan and a pair of jeans. I let my hear flow and applied some mascara and lipstick so I wouldn’t look so pale. “Morning” I said as I walked into the dining room where everyone was having breakfast. “Morning sweetheart it’s nice to finally see you again,” my aunt said pulling me into a bear hug. “Yes it’s been a long time,” I said with a smile trying to breathe which was hard because she was cutting my air supply. She finally let go of me as she heard everyone at the table laugh as I asked my aunt to let me go so I could breathe.
“So what’s for breakfast?” I asked taking the empty seat beside Harry. “Your aunt made some really good pancakes,” Harry said pushing a fork with a piece of pancake towards me. “Umm no thanks I’m not hungry,” I said with a smile “are you sure?” he asked as he continued to eat his breakfast. “Yeah I’m just gonna have a cup of coffee” I assured him. “Lucy you have to eat something else here” my aunt said handing me a chocolate chip muffin. “I’m not really hungry” I said but took the muffin.
I drank my coffee, finished my muffin, and excused myself from the table so I could go call Karla. I walked to the living room and turned the TV on as I dialed Karlas number.
“Hello” she answered.
“Morning its Lucy” I said.
“I was gonna call you today, how was your flight?”
“We had to wait until 2am, but now I’m here in Spain waiting to go to the hospital,” I said with a sigh.
“Do you think you can be here by Friday?” she asked.
“I’ll try my best” was all I could say because I really didn’t know how my sister was and I didn’t want to leave her.
“Lucy I’m buying your ticket because I need you here for the store opening!” she said raising her voice in frustration.
“Alright then I’ll be there Friday,” I said annoyed at her.
“See you in three days and hope your sister gets better” she said and hung up.
I looked at my phone shocked at how she reacted but shook it off thinking of how stressed she might be because of the interviews and getting the clothes ready for the grand opening. I turned to look at the TV and a gossip show was on called Corazon Corazon. I was about to turn the TV off but a picture caught my attention. It was a picture of Harry hugging me from behind kissing my cheek that was taken at the fashion show.
“English heartthrob One Direction band member Harry Styles (19) and the new face of fashion designer Karla Sanden clothing line Lucy Santini (18) were seen really friendly with each other at the fashion show which both attended last night. Lucy who was seen arriving with Karla her fiancé Steven Crawford was surprised when Harry came up from behind and kissed her cheek. Hours later, the two were seen leaving the show, Harry seemed to be very protective of Lucy as he tried to protect her from paparazzi that surrounded them. After the show we caught up with Karla and asked her about the relationship between Styles and Lucy and this is what she had to say ‘They are just friends, they met each other 2 days ago and got on pretty well because they are almost the same age’ hmmm.. I turned the TV off as Andrew came to get me to head to the hospital. “Umm.. Where’s Harry?” I asked him as we reached the front door. “I think his manager called him but he will meet us in the car,” he said gesturing me to go outside. We got in the car and just waited for Harry to show up. As I sat there, my mind kept replaying the gossip of Harry and me repeatedly until I heard the back door opening and saw that it was Harry. “Sorry the lads called me and I had to get it,” he said as Andrew pulled out.
