chapter 1 who I really am
I wish I had paid more attention. I wish I had more time. All those moments you spend with your family mean the most. Especially the embarrassing one that makes you smile to think of. When you live a life like mine you understand how much family means and what they do for you. One day our beloved will be swiped from us. So cherish them because you'll miss them once there gone. All to late I realized this... All in all, my life sucks.
My World and my journy.
Shawn and I skittered down the mall, to the food court area. We looked around to see if there was an open bench, and all we could find was a small black seat on the west side. Walking to the bench I examined all of the bright and colorful booth surrounding us. My eyes met a blue canopied booth with beautiful cylinder chocolate donuts. A big sigh left my mouth knowing I had already ate lunch, and me and Shawn sat down.
Shawn was a tall guy, honestly probably 5'10 but he is always bragging he is 6 foot. He has long shiney blonde hair, and pale blue eyes. When caught at an angle makes a shiver go down your spine."
Shawn's eyes turned to me and I murrmered,
"So are you ready for the big meet?"
Shawn laughed.
"c'mon man! Don't remind me of the meet!!! you know my parents force me to do that Stuff, I rather just watch movies and hang out with you and Harrison"
I looked back down at a book an my book with soft eyes and Shawn caught my gaze. "No your not going geeky boy on me now." I signed dramaticly putting the blue covered novel in my bag.
"So uh, how's your boyfriend?"I asked innocently. Shawn opened his mouth to speak when what i said registered looking slightly offended.
"Hey!"
I grinned jokingly,
"Ok ok how's your girl uh ish friend." He just shook his head pretending he wasn't smiling and I couldn't help but grin.
"Let's just go to the movies, heard they have a cool movie about kids taking over the over the world from crazy people with super weapons!" Shawn said getting exited.
"That sounds awesome." I replied, "anything is better than this."
We bought our tickets and were walking in when an usher stopped us.
"What seems to be the problem officer?" Shawn said mockingly and I snikered by accident.
"Hey kids You need your parents to see this movie, so get outta here" He said. What a jerk.
Anger simmered into my eyes. "We already bought tickets!" I aurgued, but he was already walking away. I sighed inwardly, and grunted whether from the fact I couldn't watch the movie or how the usher just blew us off, I didnt know.
"Ok no movies for us." sighed Shawn as he crossed his arms.
"Should we just hang at my house?" I asked bordly knowing the answer, his parents always let him stay the night.
"Eh why not."
We doubled up on his bike back to my house, zooming though the grey streets, My house was actually really close, When we did get there my mom looked at me. "Where have you been?" she said crossly.
