ARMIN ARLERT x READER

Chapter 12

It's saturday that morning when you are looking for something to watch on television when some news caught your eyes.

The airplane crash and you saw your mother Kuchel is one of the dead people cause by the plane crash. You didn't expect that and you heard the steps of your brother.

"What is that?"

You look at him and his coffee slip in his hands and the tears started to fall into your cheeks.

"This can't be true."

"Levi." the both of you cried and doesn't know if it's real, Levi hugged you tight.

Days goes by, everyone was sad because of what happened to Kuchel and Armin was always there time to time. You were laying down on your bed and hugging the picture of your mother.

You heard someone knocks at the door but you already know who is it.

"Can I come in?" he walk closer to you and lay down besides you.

"I'm sorry for your loss." he said while touching your hair. You turn around to face him, and he look at you sadly, but he smiled.

"Armin, *sob* I don't know what to do now.." the tears keep on falling and Armin was trying to calm you down.

"I'm here (Y/n), I'll always be here.." Then he hug you tight and you still crying. "Shhh little baby wants to cry, but I'll always by your side." He sang, his voice was heaven, it calms you down whenever he sing.

"Dinner time." Levi, interrupt and the both of you stood up and go down stairs to the dining area.

"Hey (Y/n)!" Hanji greeted and you just smile a little to her.

"I bought some of your assignments from school, and the projects you needed to pass."

"I see, thank you Hanji-san."

"Oh, That's nothing, I know you need a little bit more time to move on. But you're lucky, Armin was always here to help you." you nodded your head and Armin gave you a rice and sausage.

"Thank you for staying by her side, brat." You heard Levi said, and you blush a little.

"It's my responsibility to make her happy and to make her feel that she was valued."

You were amazed about what he said, as time goes by Armin is getting stronger. And apparently you're not used to it. You don't want him to change because of you or because of what Levi told him to.

After you ate, Levi told you to go to your room already and Armin was with you. He lay down beside you.

"Armin?"

"Hmm?"

"You have school tomorrow right?" He look at you and you both blush so hard.

"I was excuse, Ha-hanji-san told me to take care of you. And I'm wi-willing too you see.." He look away.

"But, what about your study?" He smiled and pat your head.

"Home study? Here? With you."

You blush so hard when you heard what he said, you both love each other.  But you know to yourself that he should prioritize his studies before you.

"Thanks Armin, but you better go to school. I can take care of myself."

He look sad about what you said.

"Don't you want me here (Y/n)?" He asked and you swish your head.

"Not like that, I want you to continue your study on school.. It's ok with me if you will come here everyday. Just do what I say.. Please Armin?"

He nodded and he kiss your forehead, you felt warm and cozy. You love it everytime he does those little things to you.

"I love you (Y/n)."

"I love you too Armin.. Go home now baby..." You said and he smiled at you.

He left your room and followed your command, you saw your mother's picture Kuchel was so beautiful.. If you can only bring back the time you'll probably spend more time to her.

"I'm sorry mom, sorry for being bad and useless daughter.. I miss you so much..." You cried and cried until you fall asleep, the light of the sunlight touches your skin. You saw that the picture of your mother wasn't in your hands anymore. You look for it and you saw Levi standing on your door.

"I already put it somewhere."

"What?! Why Levi?"

"We need to move on (Y/n)."

"But that doesn't mean we need to forget her!" you shouted him and sat on your bed. The tears started to fall again.
Levi sat beside you and pull you close to him.

"I'm sorry brat, we really need to move on, and I'm sure mother doesn't want you to ruin your future..." He pat your head.

You understand what his point, you really need to move on. But it takes time to heal broken hearts.

After one week, you decided to go back to school. Because you know that's what Kuchel wants you to do.
Everyone's looking at you and you just ignore them.

"Hey Brattyy!" You heard the voice of Sasha from behind, you look at it and smiled to her. "Welcome back!" Historia greeted you as you walk inside the classroom.

You look inside your classroom and you didn't even saw Armin. "Where's Armin?" you look at Sasha and Historia.

"We don't know (Y/n)." Historia said and you look at them clueless.

"Yeah, the last time we saw him was last week?" Sasha said while eating her bread. Where did he go?

You look for Mikasa and you saw her talking to Eren.

"Mika!" You shouted and she smiled at you. "Hey!" You heard Eren greet you. But you ignore him.

"Where's Armin?" You asked and she look at you like 'She doesn't know anything?'

"Oh, you don't know?" Eren interfere.

"What is it?" You nervously asked and they look at each other.

"He already go to America (Y/n)." he said and it brokes your heart even more. Why didn't he tells me? Why did he left without saying goodbye?!  You thought to yourself.

He didn't even message you a single thing and you will know that he's already in America.

Why did he left?
