Chapter 6

I sat in the office bored out of my mind. Mr. Lewis escorted Mckenzie to the nurses after I punched her in the face. laughter bubbled in my throat at the memory. I didn't care if I broke her nose or not, she deserved it. She was kissing my boyfriend. Wait! Did I just call Dylan my boyfriend? Ha! Not in a million years! It was just one simple kiss. Or was it? Did I still have feelings for him after what happened between us years ago. I was yanked out of my thoughts as the Principles door opened and out stepped our one and only Principle Joe.
"Come in." I stood up reluctantly and walked towards the open door. The room was a black color as well as blue. There was a thin rug that was navy blue under his large black desk. His walls were made of bricks and lines with black book shelfs. Several photos were hanging on his wall. Mr. Joe gestured to one of the blue chairs in front of his desk as he sat down in his chair. I sat down making sure I slouched, hopefully it would bother him. Finally, he cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Nicole, your behavior was inappropriate towards another student." he began looking sternly at me. "You punched a student in the face for no reason." I couldn't help but laugh at that comment. " You know, for a Principal, I'm surprised you're wrong." I said through clenched teeth.
"I'm sorry, what really happened then?" He asked anger filling his voice.
"You see, I was trying to work in my group and Mckenzie wouldn't stop flirting with Dylan. Then, to make matters worse she decided to kiss him in class! If I do say so myself , PDA is not allowed on campus."
"That's correct but neither is punching a student." He shot back. I replied with a huff, just as the door opened reviling a smirking Dylan.
