A/N: Thank you a lot for all you feedback on the first chapter! I had this chapter half written when I posted the last one I decided to keep writing in the same style, and maybe for the next I'll write in a point of view of one of the characters. Well, enjoy this new chapter and please don't forget to tell me your thoughts <3

"Do you remember Megan?" Jared asked Shannon, his elder brother.

"Your playmate, right?" He said knowing Jared didn't like when he called her that. The youngest rolled his eyes at Shannon's reply.

"Don't call her that." The two men said simultaneously. "Will you stop?" Jared asked getting upset with Shan who was entertained teasing his sibling.

"Okay, okay." The older added raising his hands apologetically. "What's the matter?"

"Oh, now I can talk?" Jared questioned folding his arms and lifting an expressive eyebrow.

"C'mon don't be a child. Spill it out, will ya?" Shannon's southern accent popped up while he rolled his hazel eyes.

"There has been a fire in her block this morning..." Jared commented scratching the back of his neck. He continued explaining under the attentive eyes of the drummer what had happened to his friend. In the wake of that unfortunate event, Meg had asked Jared for a huge favor: let her and her friend stay at his place for a while, since they had nowhere to go. After a lot of begging, Jared caved in. "And I need your help now, help me get two rooms ready."

"Why don't you ask that to Emma?" The older Leto asked, after all Jared always sought for her help in situations like this.

"I gave her a couple of free days, you know. She'll have a lot of work next week when we'll go to China to record the new video."

"Mmm, sure. I'll help you." Shannon accepted shrugging.

"Jay!" Megan yelled excitedly running towards him as soon as she got out of her car. "Thank you so much." She smilingly added wrapping her arms around Jared's shoulders when he was in front of her. He immediately hugged Megan back.

Jared and Meg kept talking intimately to each other while a few meters away Kathleen was taking some bags out of the vehicle and dropping them on the ground.

The ginger was so focused on her task that she didn't hear the footsteps approaching, and when he said "Hey, you need help?" his voice startled Kat. The consequences of that were the girl leaping backwards and accidently hitting the back of her head to the car's door.

"Oh, shit, shit, sorry. I didn't want to scare you." Shannon said carefully placing his hand on Kathleen's lower back as she whined bringing her hands to her nape in a frustrated attempt to massage the pain away. "Are you okay?" The drummer was concerned for the lack of words of the young lady.

It was that dumb question that made the girl look for the first time at the male beside her. Kathy faced a pair of hazel eyes filled with worry and despite the pain she thought his expressive face was familiar. A few seconds later, she responded by shaking her head slightly. "I'm dizzy." She mumbled and Shannon began to sense the guilt being built inside him.

"Let me walk you in. I'll give you some water." He gallantly offered and she simply nodded.

Megan and Jared — oblivious to what just happened — were still immersed in their little bubble. "Long time, no see." The singer joked taking a lock of her golden hair between his deft fingers.

"Yup, a lifetime." Meg said placing the back of her manicured hand flat on his mighty chest. "Who would say that a few months ago you were so fat for that stupid movie, you're sooo good now..." She suggestively whispered that last part scratching slightly her nails through Jared's black shirt.
