~(Your POV)~
blood, trickling down a pair of pure white fangs which belonged to an individual with pasty white skin. Strength, speed and life expectancy that undermines normal humans. Yes, the one and only...vampire. That was what kept haunting my dreams lately.
I'm just an ordinary girl living in a barely populated town in the forests. Yet even such a quiet town can give people nightmares. My college has a total population of 550 students. I live alone because my family shipped me off to this town due to me getting a full scholarship in school.
Out of 550 students, only one person never fails to catch my eye. The mysterious and stoic looking heartthrob of my department—Zuho. Despite being very popular, he never associates with other people unless necessary. His handsomeness may be the major point that attracts many girls like bees to honey, but for me, it's his aura that makes me want to approach him. His deep gray eyes that seemed to hold nothing but hollowness and his fair skin that no girl that has entered my vision could beat.....it all piques my interest.
I have a few classmates I'm comfortable enough to chat with, but not enough to call them my friends, so yes, I'm pretty much a loner. I can stare at Zuho and deduce whatever I can about him without being seen as a creep. While eating my chicken sandwich, I accidentally made eye contact with Zuho and I ended up turning my head to the side and scrambled for my things. I put the chair back in place and walked off with my head hung low.
I can't believe he saw me staring!!! How embarrassing!!! His brown eyes were—wait,brown? His eyes are gray, how could it turn into....could he be wearing contacts?
I finished the last of my sandwich and headed to my biology class. The teacher announced about some project that is due in on Monday. Since it was Friday today, we had more than enough time to do the work. I was about to ask a classmate of mine to be my pair, but the teacher started listing down the names of the students in the class to show who's paired with who.
My eyes widened when I saw that I was paired with none other than Zuho.
Oh god, what kind of luck do you call this??
The boy got out of his original seat and sat on the unoccupied one next to me. He turned to face me with a small smile "hello"
"Um...hi"
"I don't think we've ever been properly been introduced, I'm Zuho" he said as he held his hand out
I shook his hand as quickly as I could.
"Y/n"
"So y/n, it seems the professor has dismissed us early. Are you okay with doing this at my house?"
"Um, sure, yeah"
"Great. Let's get going"
When the two of us stood up, I could feel the whole female population's glare piercing my skin. The car ride is quiet, to say the least. I scrolled on my social media while he busied himself with driving. One article caught my eye, it was about vampires. The one that has been haunting my dreams lately to the point I feel like there's one in my room.
I read the whole thing and couldn't help but feel afraid of the person next to me. I've never seen him eat or drink anything...his skin, his aura, and his eyes...that seems change color...I couldn't help but shiver.
"Sorry, I feel cold" I said as I reached for the button, but our fingers touched.
I pulled my hand back. He just gave me a look that seemed to be like he wanted to say something, but he turned his attention back to the road. I did the same, biting my lower lip in hopes of not saying anything that may or may not lead to my death if the handsome boy next to me is a vampire.
