In an old cabin in the woods, there lives a witch. But not just any witch. The WoodWitch. I know what you might be thinking. "Wood? I'm not scared of that!" But the last person who thought that was killed by the very thing they thought was harmless.
She is a wicked, evil old woman. And anything alive that wanders into the forest usually never comes back out. If they do not die or get turned into trees first, they are usually taken care of by the WoodMen, the witch's cruel soldiers. They are made entirely out of wood. Old, strong, wood, the kind of wood that can't be destroyed by axes and tools. The only way to destroy them is fire. And no one manages to burn even a single one before they are killed.
But, if someone manages to get past the wooden army, the WoodWitch herself can easily kill them using powerful magic.
Although she has never encountered someone with powers of their own...
