jaehyun and taeyong have gone up to their room to sleep in their shared bedroom, leaving two couples downstairs in the small living room to converse about the sudden appearance of two new faces. jaehyun knew what was about to go down and so he asked his friends to settle their quarrel quietly as he went to bed with his boyfriend.

doyoung had been frustrated for the past few minutes and taeil was flustered, not knowing how to handle the unexpected situation. the other couple just sat their on their barely functional couch, not knowing what to say or what to do.

"we can't take them in, taeil! we barely got enough for the four of us here, how do we welcome two new faces into this fiasco?" doyoung exclaimed suddenly, not too loudly as taeyong was already mad at him for attempting to touch and change him. he crossed his arms and folded his legs as he sat on another wooden chair, across his boyfriend, who sat in between johnny and ten.

taeil groaned silently for the nth time tonight, taking a strand of hair and looking at it, checking if it had gone white from the amount of stress he was getting. "doyoung, they already said just one night! they have been out there for such a long time surviving off of nothing, this is literally their only chance of living another day, babe!"

"look, i know we're not financially okay, but a little act of kindness will bring us good luck! i just know it!" taeil begged as he clasped his own hands together. "we can make it work. . ." he added softly.

doyoung stayed silent for a moment. he looked away, not wanting to face the eyes of those who were in front of him. in that moment of silence, johnny and ten looked at each other and communicated with their eyes. the two shared sadness and disappointment in their eyes, but knew that what they had to do was the only way.

"we'll leave right now."

"we'll be out of your hair in no time."

taeil, awkwardly in the middle, looked down as the two quarreled how their telepathy was shit and they didn't say the right thing at the same time. he ignored the banter in between them and chuckled before looking up at his boyfriend, who was surprisingly also smiling and laughing at the two.

"stay. . ." doyoung said suddenly and quietly. the couple stopped quarreling and looked at the bunny looking boy in front of them, not knowing how to properly react. "we really don't have much, but the amount of nostalgia you bring me and taeil is indescribable."

"the real reason why i was so against you guys being here was because i didn't want you to stay one night, i want you guys to stay. . . with us." doyoung explained, his cheeks getting hot and his ears turning into a light shade of red, pink almost. he, embarrassed with his previous demeanor, chaffed the back of his neck and locked eyes with johnny. "letting you guys go would be too harsh and would make us guilty. i'll talk to jaehyun and taeyong about it. please, stay for as long as you need."

ten stood up and bowed all the way down. being raised in thailand and suddenly left alone in korea, he wasn't the best at the native language. "thank you." he said, having a small accent. he flinched, thinking they would judge him, but doyoung just nodded with a warm smile. johnny followed in suit to taeil, the latter just giving the bigger man a hug.
