I live in a world where your percentage of perfection controls your lifestyle.
When you are born a small chip gets installed into your wrist, it is attached to your veins and you will have to live with it for the rest of your life.
How your percentage works is simple, your percentage increases if you do something perfectly, but decreases if you don't.
The highest ever achieved percentage is 94% and the person who achieved that percentage is me, Nina Smith.
Yes I am proud of myself for achieving that percentage, but due to me maintaining my percentage I basically didn't have a normal childhood because I was to busy stressing about my percentage.
You still probably don't know why I stress about my percentage, well here's why...
If you achieve 100% of perfection before the ceremony, you get to choose how you die and who you marry, but if you don't get 100% perfection before the ceremony you will have to marry a complete stranger and the government gets to choose how you die, this ceremony happens once you reach the age of 22 and if you refuse to do the ceremony you will be exterminated.
Another bad part of this percentage thing, is that if you have below a certain amount of percentage you are not allowed to enter certain places, so if you are about to die and the closest hospital requires above 50% perfection and you have below 50% perfection, they won't let you into the hospital.
But now let's start with where I am today.
NOTE :
Nina is 21 and is turning 22 in 4 days.
Nina only has 94% perfection, and is 4days away from the ceremony.
